Silent Siren Live in Jakarta 2016 (9.9.2016)

Silent Siren Jakarta Live 2016 @ Upper Room (09.09.2016)

Silent Siren went to Jakarta for the 3rd time in a space of 2 years time. Early Last year, i didnt know much about them (yep, i’m a late fan i know), and i just knew them ever since they started doing collaboration with “Passpo” during Last year “Tokyo Idol Festival 2015” at the Heat Garage Stage. I remember that day one of the saisai (Silent Siren) member “Yukarun” appears on the TIF stage together with passpo singing Passpo’s trade mark song “Material Girl”. Haha. ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

Fast Forward after that, they apperared two times in Indonesia during 2015; Firstly at “GJUI 2015” event as one of the Guest Performer there, before doing their first solo concert in Jakarta in September 2015 last year. If you track back my earlier blog post, you can see my post about those events as well ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyways, for last year concert at the Upper Room i went as a media to take pictures, so for this year Live, i decided to go for the VIP SEAT one. So on the 9th September 2016, The day of the Live, i met my friends quite early before the concert so i can secure the “Meet and Greet” ticket. The Meet and Greet Ticket cost 500k rupiah (around 4000 yen) and you get the “Silent Siren World Tour T-Shirt, A Towel, a Group Photo with Silent siren (!) and also handshake with them ! I think its a very awesome deal!

Meet and Greet Ticket Package

Queue at around 3PM

After securing the Meet and Greet ticket, basically it’s just a waiting game until the Live starts at 19:30PM. I queued in front with a fellow fans from Singapore, Hongkong and one guy from Malaysia. There’s also Japanese fans but i think they decided to queue at the back.

So the gate Open at 18:30 and i rushed inside to find a spot for myself. Strangely, i remember few months ago before the concert, they announced that the live will be an “All Standing” concert. But today, once we got inside there are chairs/seats everywhere. Haha. Oh well. Maybe the organizer last minute changed their minds about the “free/all standing” and decided to put chairs in there. So for the seats, i managed to secure a 2nd row centre row, which isn’t all that bad…Lol.

Inside the Venue

Now onto the concert part. It’s really awesome. For some reason they started to do “Bang Bang Bang!” and “Biisan” quite early in the live. They also sing “Hacigatsu No Yoru, Soukai Rock, Happi Mari” etc etc, but my favorite part is when they sing “Secret Base, Koi Yuki“, and “Stella” back to back half way through the concert…OMG !! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

There’s also one song i got addicted lately, and that is “Love Fighter”. I didnt really like DanceMusiQ that much either, but during the live, it’s actually quite fun. Lol.

For the encore parts they sing 3 songs, “Sinbad, What Show It Is?, and finally Cherry Bomb“. Quite awesome setlist! Although they never sing “Sweet Pop!” and Kakumei this year to make way for newer songs…oh well.

Anyways here is the full setlist from the Concert.

Silent Siren – Jakarta 2016.09.09 Setlist

Silent Siren Jakarta setlist 9/9/2016:
1. Milk boy
2. Hachigatsu no Yoru
4. Biisan
5. Joshikou Sensou
6. Love Install
7. Hikari
9. Soukai Rock!
10. Hapi Mari
11. secret base ~Kimi ga Kureta Mono~
12. Koi Yuki
13. stellaโ˜†
14. Yoshida-san
15. C. A. F. E
16. DanceMusiQ
17. Guru Guru Wonderland

Encore :
18. Shindo Baddo (Sindbad)
19. What show is it?
20. Cherry Bomb

After the concert it’s time for meet and greet. Me and my friends quequed quite last minute because we went out from the hall quite late. And by then the queue already quite very long lol. Doesnt Matter though. During the Meet and Greet, i didnt talk to them that much anyway (since they’re not idols), so i just went to handshake with them and take a group shot. Haha.

Group Shoot with Sai Sai

After the concert, me and my friends went to eat a late dinner at my singaporean friend’s hotel for a late night gathering. Before i finally went back home at around 12-1am. Phew. Haha. What a day.

With Singapore, Japanese, Malaysian saisai fans

Overall, the concert is very nice. And the experience for this year concert leaves a MUCH BIGGER impression for me compared to last year live. Maybe because for this year, i see them much more closer (2nd row centre) and also still got the meet and greet after the live. Last year i went as a media, and watched the 3/4 for the concert from the back row, and also didnt attend the meet and greet (only high touch from what i heard, so this year group shoot and handshake is a HUGE upgrade, haha). ๐Ÿ˜›

I do hope Saisai come to Jakarta again though; Hinanchu said before that if possible they want to do a live in Jakarta every year. So let’s hope she keep her words for next year (2017) Live in Jakarta. ๐Ÿ˜€

Highlights / Best Part of the concert For Me:
“Bang bang Bang!, Biisan, Joshikou Sensou, Secret Base, Love Fighter, Koi yuki, Stellla, Cherry Bomb”

Quick Hostel Review – Akihabara Grids

Akihabara Grids Capsule – Akihabara

Just want to do quick review of this place. Stayed here for a total of “1 day” only, so can’t say much about it. ๐Ÿ˜› The only reason why i chose to stay here because its location in AKIHABARA!!, and it’s quite reasonable price at around 3000 Yen per night!

Ok let’s get it started shall we. ๐Ÿ˜€

The capsule room is just like your standard capsule hotel type, so nothing much to say here.

The WIFI of this place, is quite good though ! Quite fast compared to the Iriya 1980 capsule hotel i stayed before lol. The main lobby of the hotel is also very spacious, and the staff can speak abit english so check in is not a problem at all. They also let you drop luggage at the lobby if you came too early, and there is place to sit around at the main lobby also.

Oh, there is a common room at the top floor- although it is kinda small. See picture below

Now into the bad parts… Read the rest of this entry »

FESโ˜†TIVE Live in Jakarta (20th August 2016)

Posted: August 24, 2016 by InfinityZer0 in Japan!!

So, Idol group “FESโ˜†TIVE” came to Indonesia for the “Gelar Jepang Universitas Indonesia” event in Indonesia, Jakarta(or also known as “GJUI“). They came here for a grand total of 5 days total, including some appearance at local TV here (SCTV “Inbox” Show), some radio appearance, and also “Fan Meeting” Event which is located at a ZOO (Ragunan, somewhere in South of Jakarta).

I attended the Festive Presscon a day before the GJUI Event.

Basically, since i dont know much about them so i will just keep this post “short”…haha. But it’s my tradition to cover an idol group when they visited my country (being an “idol-otaku” that i am, even though if i didnt know much about them, lol :D)

I did take 2shot with Mikki before during TIF2016 “TGIF” segment a few weeks ago though during my Japan Trip, but that’s just for fun. Haha. It’s funny how she looks so surprised when i showed my TGIF polaroid cheki to her at the booth merchandise stand there. Hahaha. ๐Ÿ˜›

Festive mebers @ Their Merchandise Stand @ GJUI

The goods their selling at the stand

Anyways, i can’t come up with a full setlist for Festive cuz all i know is “Magical Parade” and “Summer Jumping”. Their song is all fast paced one, but for some reason most of them didnt catch my ear…lol. So here is my short/quick summary of them during their visit to Jakarta, Indonesia. ๐Ÿ˜›

– The members quite ok in “fishing”. Especially Hinarin ^^ (and Kotone + Momoka also from what i heard).
– Cheap cheki/2shot 500 yen, group shoot 1000 yen
– The goods their sell at buppan/stand also very cheap (lightstick change color only 1000 yen? tshirt 2000 yen?)
– Members walking around the venue and can 2shot for free (use mobile phone)
– They performed 12 songs during the live. that is ALOT!!! :O They also didnt cut their screen time despite the delays, so thx to the organizer
– Energetic performance despite the performance is nearing to Midnight time already !! (Lol)

– Still dont like the songs, maybe only one or two songs only (Magical Parade, Summer Jumping)
– The Live got delayed until sooo late at night time. 22:30 start, 23:40 (!!!) finish lol
– 2shot only 50k rupiah (around 500 yen), but their Zoo Trip on Sunday actually cost 600k , in japanese yen is around 5000+ yen (which i think too expensive for local standards, but i think all the jap fans still go though!)
– Too bad got one member didnt come for this event, so its 7 out of 8 members (not complete)

Overall it’s still quite fun. But for some reason imo, LinQ appearance in Aeon Mall BSD last month is much better experience for me haha. Maybe cuz i like LinQ’s song better lol ๐Ÿ˜€

(…..Hinarin is still cute though !!><). Oh. About Hinarin. She likes idol too, in the end we talked abit about Hello Pro and C-ute being disbanding next year, since i dont know any other topics to talk her with xD. But surprisingly, we got along just fine during the 2shot + meet and greet at the stand/buppan there. Haha. ๐Ÿ˜›

Some pictures of course.

2shot with @aoba_hinarin (my fave member :3) ๐Ÿ˜›

Group Shot with Festive

You can also check out my Flickr album for more Festive photos….and that’s about it ๐Ÿ˜€

Japan Summer Trip 2016 – 8th and 9th August 2016

Posted: August 16, 2016 by InfinityZer0 in Japan!!

So, now that my #TIF2016 post has finally ended, i still have 2 days left of my japan trip…Haha. Actually, for the last 2 days, there are so many idol events that i could attend – for example there is this “Campus Summit” event at Tsutaya O-east, with LinQ, Idol College, GEM, etc” as the main headliners, but since i’m still tired from the yesterday #TIF2016 event, i decided not to go.

There’s also the “Passcode” one man live at Zepp Diver. I am really tempted to go actually, but the fact that it’s inside odaiba once again (and i had to check out and move to Akihabara Capsule Hotel — it’s just too much for me to go Akiba then go back to Odaiba again), i decided to give it a miss also. So today i just checked in to my Capsule hotel at Akihabara, then went on a shopping spree in Akiba once again.

My Weird Breakfast for the day. Calbee potatoe chips with Passpo Flavour!!

Shopping at Trio, saw these 2nd hand babyraids CDs at Book Off!!

Besides shopping in Akiba, i’m also meeting with my other indo friends who just arrived in tokyo. Plus,i still have the “Tsubomi” event in the afternoon (bought the tickets on my 1st day in Japan, remember ? haha) and also, i’m planning to go to the Kamen Joshi’s “Parms Theatre” later after that. So let’s begin with the “Tsubomi” event first.

Tsubomi AV Event – 8th August 2016 – 16:30PM

For the Tsubomi event, it is held at this AV shop called “Media World Akiba”, at the top floor of the building. Since Tsubomi is pretty much a “household” name in the AV Industry — i was expecting her event to be Full House. To my surprise, the event is not even half full ! (well maybe it is half full but i left as soon as the event finishes). But then again, maybe it’s because it’s held during the weekdays.

Anyways, i bought 2 DVDs, so that allows me to take photos of her for like 7-8 different pose, a signed DVDs, a home-made cookies from her, and also, 2shot with her. Not bad eh? All for 5000+ yen only ๐Ÿ˜€

Here are few photos from the photoshoots.

2Shot and some Photos of Tsubomi from the Event

During the DVD signing, Tsubomi asked me where i’m from, etc etc (told her im from Bali/Indonesia as always, like i always do for all AV stars…hahahaha). But since i’m going to this event with bunch of friends (lol), most of them already said that we’re coming here because of #TIF2016 hahaha. So when she ask me that i’m here also for #TIF2016, i told her, “Yeah, i’m here to see EBISU MUSCAT in TIF2016″. Lol. Then her reaction is like “oooh, Ebisu Muscat-san!!” xD ๐Ÿ˜€

She also gave us home made cookies (well, its only for the first 40 people — but like i said before, the event is not really full house, so we still got it anyways. Guess we’re the early birds). Not sure if she really make it herself, but my friend checked her blog and it’s like she really make the cookies herself lol…soo yeah. Not bad. The cookies taste nothing special though !

Home Made cookies by Tsubomi, yay

PARMS Theatre for Kamen Joshi – 8th August 2016 – 19:30PM

After the Event has ended, around 19:30 PM we quickly headed to the P.A.R.M.S theatre to see Kamen Joshi / Alice Juban. Actually, im not really into Kamen Joshi that much — i just wanted to see Erina Kamiya of Steam girls….oh man…her Gravure works is really hot — if you know what i mean…LOL ๐Ÿ˜€

Panorama inside the PARMS Theatre

This is my 2nd time going to PARMS btw, the last time i went is to take 2shot with Jun Amaki and that was before she graduated and become a full time Gravure Idol. Haha. So anyways. The entrance ticket is basically a 1500 yen food voucher which you can use/exchange with Foods and Drinks !!! Didnt know you can exchange for foods also (last time i only used it for drinks), so this time i decided to exchange the coupon for a Curry Rice (900 yen) and Pepsi Cola (600 yen) — just nice 1500 yen value.

900 Yen Curry Rice and 600 yen Pepsi Drink

For the performance, it’s around 1 hour and 30 minutes peformance, with some performance from their sub units (steam girls, etc) and some other idol groups that was invited to perform there. I basically dont know much of their songs except for Natsu Dane” & “Genki Dane” hahaha. So yeah, nothing much to say about the performance– but im quite lucky enough when Erina Kamiya comes out to perform, she’s always in the right side of the stage — just in front of me…lol . Just a perfect spot for me xD ๐Ÿ˜€ The live itself is very high tho — the wotas just kept on chanting non-stop, and doing wotagei and stuffs — haha. (i can only observe them, which is very interesting to see)

After the live i went to take 2shot with Kamiya Erina (1000 yen) and then Group shot with Steam Girls (2000 yen wide cheki + sign). I think it’s quite worth it, their price for 2shot is very reasonable ! ๐Ÿ˜€

2shot with Kamiya Erina

Group Shot with Steam Girls

So basically that’s about it for the day. Main highlights is the “Tsubomi” event, and my visit to see “Erina Kamiya” at the PARMS Theatre. ๐Ÿ˜€ After the live, me and my friends went to walk around in Akihabara a little bit more until near midnight, before we finally called it a day and walk back to our hostel (not so far from Akiba metro station).

Btw the Capsule we stayed for the night is called “Akihabara Grids”. You can google about it, or wait later as i will try to make a separate reviews for it. Haha. ๐Ÿ˜›

9th August 2016 – Last Day in Tokyo

So finally, my last day in Tokyo ๐Ÿ™ I checked out from my capsule hostel in akiba around 11:00 AM, while my Flight back to Indonesia is very close to midnight at 23:10 PM. So with this 12 hours spare time, basically this day is an “extra day” for me. Haha.

At first, i did checking for some idol related events – but since i already went to PARMS theatre for Kamen Joshi yesterday – i felt that another “Idol” related event would be too much (and #TIF2016 is already overkill for me anyways)… So yeah, today i’m relaxing again – walking around in Akiba for last minute shopping, relaxing at Saizeriya (refill drinks ftw) and stuffs. Bought this Babyraids autographer poster at Trio Shop for only like 2000 + yen, which is quite a steal for me.

Babyraids Autographer Poster by Ricopin ! Yay

Relaxing in Saizeriya with freinds in the Afternoon

After last minute shopping in akiba etc etc, it’s only around 16:00 and i still have much time until my departure back to indonesia. I still have some money left, so i decided to last minute attend this AV event by this AV star called “Hirose Umi”. Before this i actually didnt know much about her — but for the event she is wearing a Bikini (yay) — so it doesnt take long for me to decide to buy the event ticket, lol ๐Ÿ˜€

Hirose Umi AV Event Tickets

Hirose Umi AV Event – 9th August 2016 – 18:00 PM

The event is located at this AV shop (i forgot the name now) but its on the alleyway just opposite the Don Q building in Akiba. The process is a little bit different from the other AV event i went before. I bought the DVD on the 3rd floor of the shop to get my event tickets. After that, around 1 hour before the event i need to trade my event tickets for a “queue tickets”. This ticket is my queue number, and if i guess correctly, they will call you by the numbers when the event about start. And for the queue, we need to wait in the 1st floor — outside the shop/venue.

For the Tsubomi event before, there’s no need to change the event tickets for queue number tickets or whatsoever (basically we just went up for that) so this one is a little bit different. Haha. But since there’s not many people for the event, i just basically go up when the event about to start, and while my queue number is…”Number 1″. Lol. It doesnt really matter anyway when there’s so little people. (only like 5-6 including me!)

My friend later on joined the event also after i finished, and he says that there is like 10+ people in front of him, so yeah, it is a weekdays, maybe people does come late for the event. haha. For the event — it’s still the same as the Tsubomi ones. For 2 DVDS (around 5000yen) i get a Photoshoot with her (20 seconds), signed photos + Free talk session with her, and then finally, a bikini 2shot with her ๐Ÿ˜€ Didnt talk much with her tho as i dont really have much topics to talk with – and she is not as chatty as Tsubomi, lol.

Anyways, here are some photos from the event.

Signed Photo – Front and Back

Hirose Umi Bikini Photoshoots

Hirose Umi 2shots

So that should be that. After the event, me and my friend went to collect our luggage from the Hostel, before going back to the Haneda Airport at around 20:30. Used my last remaining money of 300 yen to buy a sandwich at the combini nearby which is basically my last meal for this Japan Trip lol. Yeah, when i go back to Japan, i tend to use all my remaining money until there’s nothing left (well maybe for some 1 yen and 5 yen coins, lol). ๐Ÿ˜€

23:50PM – *Flies back home to Indonesia* ๐Ÿ™

Closing Notes:

This Year #TIF2016 i think is one of the best ever imo — it’s very tiring but it’s very fun at the same time. Also met up with many friends during this trip, some which i didnt see for a year ++, so it’s awesome to meet them again finally. ๐Ÿ˜€

I did have some regrets though. I didnt manage to see E-Girls at all during this trip. Yep, i know they’re not an idol, but they have a single coming up while im in Japan. Sadly, they don’t really have any releases event while im there- except some TV performance which i dont know how to go to. Lol. And not to mention they have the 2016 Tour in “Saitama Super Arena” which i’m unable to go because it happened to be just one day after my departure date back home. :/ Oh well. E-Girls is not really my luck during this trip.

Also, Babyraids Japan has some kind of “Group Photo” event for their new album release a week or more before my Japan trip. I was hoping for them to have the same thing also during #TIF, but nope…not my luck either. Taking a group picture with Babyraids is seems to be a very rare case, so i’m also sad that i missed that opportunity. The same thing goes for Passcode. Didnt manage to take any 2shot with them during this trip because there wasn’t any. I did handshake with all the members during 2nd Day of #TIF if that’s any consolation. Haha.

Oh well. You can’t have ’em all. For the next Japan Trip Maybe? hahaha. I hope so ๐Ÿ˜€ Anyways, that should be it for my Japan Trip Blog post for this year. Thanks for reading my boring Crap as always xD . Til next time….

Japan Summer Trip 2016 โ€“ TIF2016 Day 3

Posted: August 13, 2016 by InfinityZer0 in Japan!!

So finally…for the last day of #TIF2016 T_T Went out from my apartement at around 9:15 am to go to the Smile garden to collect my wristband. After that settled, i quickly rushed to the Market Place area, hoping to queue for the #TGIF again (lol). ๐Ÿ˜›

Last Day of #TIF2016 finally. Getting my Wristband first at the TGU Booth

7th August 2016 – TIF2016 Day 3

Yesterday i didnt see that much performance since i’m too focused on the #TGIF segment in the morning (lol). Today, i actually “tried” to go again, and once again — the queue for the #TGIF tickets is too damn crazy. Mind you, i actually got inside the Marketplace when it opens at 10:00. But i suppose there are people who queued to the market place before that already — so that they can get inside first. Haha.

At first, me and my friend “queued” for the tickets, trying our luck. But after wasting 30 minutes at the queue without any luck (the queue still damn long by the time we wanted to leave btw) we decided to abandon the queue and moved on for other things. Haha. 30 minutes wasted, but luckily there are nothing much i want to see in the morning. ๐Ÿ˜€

So anyways, no #TGIF for me today!! With that distraction gone (phew– saved me money also xD), i went straight to the “Ship Stage” for non-stop performances, starting from “Palet“. Even though i took pictures with “Riitochan” earlier in the 1st day of #TIF2016, this is actually my first time seeing Palet during this trip / TIF2016. Haha.

Ship Stage is where i will be for the next 4 Hours :O

During Palet, obviously, they sang their new single “Over The Rainbow” and their coupling song “ใƒ€ใ‚คใ‚นใ‚ญใฃ!! ๏ฝžๆ‹ใฎSeason๏ฝž”. Both is quite good to be honest. But the lack of “oshi” in Palet makes me less excited towards them for some reason — (now that Sakimo has Gone :/) Yeah,i took 2shot with Riito-chan – but that doesnt mean she is my fav member lol. I think i dont really have any members i like at the moment in Palet, so im pretty much “casual” towards them now haha. Anyways, here is the setlist from the Ship Stage for Palet.

Palet @ Ship Stage day 3 #TIF2016 setlist:
1. ใƒ€ใ‚คใ‚นใ‚ญใฃ!! ๏ฝžๆ‹ใฎSeason๏ฝž
2. Over The Rainbow
3. Love n Roll
4. Believe in Yourself

Palet @ Ship Stage
(Images Courtesy of Palet Official Twitter)

(Btw, there is not much footage of ship stage at the moment, so i can’t post much images of each performers during all these ship stage segments…haha)

After Palet is done, next is Rev from DVL turn….without Kanna Hashimoto…xD I really dont know any of the other REV members, so it’s kinda funny seeing them without Kanna. I also dont know much of their song titles either, i can only know one song, which is called Step by Step (which i also saw during #TIF2014 Hot Stage 2 years ago, haha). Other than that, their performance is nothing much to brag about i think.

Next up is “Aoyama saint Hachamecha High School“. Seriously, i never heard of this group Before (LOL) so i dont know much anything about the members or even their songs. Right. Ok let’s just skip to Passpo to save me some writing time xD ๐Ÿ˜€

Passpo in TIF is really good when it comes to managing time for their performance. They managed to sing 7 songs with a span of 20 minutes (of course, most of this is only medley/ half songs) but still — a good try. I suppose they’ve been performing here since “TIF2010” so they’re one of the “Old Guards” here with plenty of experience. Haha.

Passpo @ Ship Stage
(Images Courtesy of Passpo Official Twitter)

Passpo begins their Ship Stage performance with a summer song “Vivi Natsu”, followed by their very old songs “La La La ~ Love train“. They also did “Baby Jump” and of course their new single “Bachelorette wa Owaranai” (the only full song for their performance here at the ship stage, haha).

Overall i think it’s quite good setlist- at least its better compared to their Hot Stage or Smile Garden 1st day Performance, imo. xD ๐Ÿ˜€ Full Setlist Below:

Passpo @ #TIF2016 Ship Stage:
1. Vivi Natsu
2. La la love train
3. Baby Jump
4. Himawari
5. Mr Wednesday
6. Cosmic u
7. Bachelorette Owaranai

After Passpo is done. I seriously thinking to move to other stage, because the next 3 performers i dont really know that much — which is “AOP”, “Rocka Japonica” and “Ayumikurimaki”. Well, for the last one (Ayumikurimaki) actually isn’t all that bad — as their songs is quite catchy (to me anyways)…but the other two…ummm ๐Ÿ˜ Somemore, the weather in Ship Stage is really like Hell. Damn hot, direct sunlight, and not much protection from the sun.

But in the end — i choosed to stay all the way until Babyraids x Wasuta, so because of that,i actually had sunburnt (and some part of my skin still actually very dark until the day i wrote this post NOW) Lol. Yeah, i did apply sunblock in some parts of my skin, but i forgot that some sunblock lotion couldnt last that long – and by the time i want to apply more lotion on my skin, i’m already ran out of them. Lol. I wanted to move, but the fact i already got a good spot for the stage (2nd block from middle front, 1st row near the railings) i didnt feel like to move at all. Haha. Oh well. What done is Done. Even though i got a sunburn — i never really regret my decisions though. Hahaha ๐Ÿ˜€

So up next, after “AOP”, “Rocka Japonica” and “Ayumikurimaki” done performing (let’s just skip them shall we xD Not sure what to write about them since i dont know their songs) is….X21 turn to perform. Yay. ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

So X21 time to Perform…and guess what…today Miyu Yoshimoto is performing…yay!!! ๐Ÿ˜€ She was missing from the 1st day Smile Garden performance — so im really glad i can see her here. (finally). They sang about 5 songs total — i can only remember the 3 of them, which is “Shoujo X”, “Youki no Parade” and finally, “Natsu Dayoo~ with Miyu Yoshimoto as the center. NICE!!!

..Dont have pix of Miyu Yoshimoto from Ship Stage ๐Ÿ™ T_T So i’ll just use this pix from the Natsu Dayo~ PV ~

Overall, quite happy with the X21 performance today, and i think during the entire performance my eyes locked 100% towards Miyu Yoshimoto lol. After X21, its time for Up Up Girls ~ Kakko Kari to perform. Their performance is damn high as well. for the last song , they also spray water using Water guns, and thrown away water bombs towards the audience. I think the water bomb almost hit my face for around 2 times? But luckily i managed to dodge away a split second before it hit my face. Haha.

Up Up Girls ~ Kakko Kari @ Ship Stage
(Images Courtesy of Up Up girls official instagram account)

After Up Up girls, it’s the “Weekly Young Survival Stage” featuring Festive, Akishibu Project, and Nijicon. I was hoping for all out bikini contest (Lol) but guess i was expecting too much xD (yeah, i blame the #TGIF booth at the market place for letting me see too much bikinis during this #TIF). So, each groups performed about 2 songs, before the MC interviewed them for one more time. In the end — Nemoto Nagi from Nijicon is the one who win the Survival battle thingy. It’s a no-contest imo… can see that Nemo-chan is really confident throughout the entire things – even when the MC asked her question and stuffs…haha.

Nijicon @ Ship Stage “Survival Battle”
(Images Courtesy of Nijicon Twitter account)

After that segment is done, finally for the last part of the Ship Stage (for me, lol…too hot under the direct sun makes me crazy). It’s time for Babyraids x Wasuta collaboration — or we should call it… Baby-Wasuta-Japan…xD

So, Babyraids wears tiger ear (and tails), while Wasuta wear neko ears lol. What a pairing xD. As for the songs, i kinda forgot the exact setlist for this segment (yeah, blame me for not writing down stuffs), but if i remember correctly, during the performance Wasuta was singing “Babyraids” (the song), then babyraids also singing “Juuden Mantan Saturday Night” together with Wasuta. And for the last part, is the Gate of the Tiger x Inu Neko Seishun Massakari remix with both groups performing….hahaha. damn Nice.

(Images Courtesy of Babyraids Twitter account)

After the “Tiger vs Neko” match…errr. i mean Baby-Wasuta-Japan performance, i finally can leave the Ship Stage — after 4 Hours under the direct sun. Man i feel like i’m about to melt already !! So i Immediately left right away to find cover under the shelter, and in the end — i decided to go to the Zepp Diver again to refill my water and rest. Haha. On the way to Zepp diver, i can hear 9Nine singing Shining Star from far away…i think from Smile Garden? Lol…But im already too tired + lazy to walk there, so i just head to Zepp Diver to rest.

After resting for 10 minutes (lol…so short) i took a look at my schedule and realized that Hatcheketai (Passpo Subunit) is about to perform at the Festival Stage, which is just ouside Zepp diver. So i went there first to take a look. They sing that Kibun Saikou Saikou song for the last part, while for the first 2 songs they sang, i dont know the song titles (i think it’s not Passpo songs anyway, maybe their original song finally?).

After Hatcheketai finished performing…i went to the Grand Market areas for one last look at the buppan/shops. I mean, this is the last day of #TIF2016, so if i want to buy something else, must do it now! Too bad there’s nothing much i want to buy though — before i finally bump into my friends and he encourage me to take 2shot with Nemo from Nijicon. Lol. Turns out if you’re a foreigners, you can show your passport to the Nijicon staff and you can get one coupon discount for 2shots (usually it took 3 coupons? now only 2 coupons for foreigners who showed their passport). For the coupon you need to preorder something from the tower record booth — i just let my friend do the thing for me and i just paid 2000 yens for the 2 coupon. Hahaha. (dont need the CDs anyways).

My Last 2shot at #TIF2016, with Nemoto Nagi of Nijicon

After the 2shot, i went to rest again cuz i’ve got nothing else to do. Haha. more waiting and rest, all the way until 17:35 — i finally feel like doing something lol~ so i went to the nearest stage, which is Festival Stage, for Wasuta performance. Again, i dont know most of the song titles except for Inu Neko Sessihun Massakari — and this is the 5th time i heard this song during my Japan trip. Hahaha.

With that over with, finally for the last stage of #TIF2016 to visit, which is the Smile Garden stage. Night Time ! Yep, it’s that time again, i feel that Smile Garden is the most craziest during night time, which is why its so much fun. In the last 2-3 years of #TIF i also always finishes my TIF at the Smile Garden stage — so this year should be the same for me lol. The next 6 performers at the Smile Garden stage would be : “Passpo”, “Yumeado”, “Negicco”, “Ayumikurikamaki”, “Babyraids Japan” (wooo!) ,and finally “Up Up Girls Kakko Kari!” + the “Smile Finale Segment”.

Smile Garden Closing Performances:

First up, it’s Passpo turns. They start the performance with “Material Girl” (their trademark songs during #TIF lol), followed by 7″s Up” which is basically their jikoshoukai song. Haha.

Paspo @ Smile Garden
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Next)

They finished the performance with “Pretty Lie”. Overall, the setlist is average at best. I think their Ship Stage performance is much much better ! Oh also, i think this is segment is sponsored by “Calbee” chips, as they keep promoting it throughout the performance hahaha.

Annya promoting Calbee chips~ Tried it btw, and it taste so-so only haha
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Next)

The full setlist for passpo peformance is below.

Passpo @ Smile Garden 7th August (18:20 pm):
1. Material Girl
2. 7s up
3. Honey dish
4. Jyaane
5. Pretty Lie

After Passpo its time for Negicco, Yumeado, and Ayumikurikamaki (again !! 3 times see them already haha, not that i wanted to tho~) but since i dont know much about both of these groups — i shall skip them straight, since i dont know much to write about them. Hahaha ๐Ÿ˜›

So yeah, straight away for the Babyraids Japan Smile Garden final performance. Oh man…about…damn…time!!! ๐Ÿ˜€

Babyraids Japan – Smile Garden Performance:

Imo, this is one of the highlights of #TIF2016 for me. The performance is just damn awesome haha. From start to finish- i think it’s an “explosive” performance. I think it’s very clear that they’re officially my favorite idol groups at the moment (taking over from Passpo –like…finally??? xD) And for the First song, they already start with a quite high song “Charinko Idol” from their 1st album, and then followed by “Wahaha” (โ€œใƒฏใƒใƒโ€) — which i got really addicted recently, haha. Then they followed it with Level 1 which is basically their “Jikoushoukai” song (very clever – like that they dont need to waste much time for MCs and introducing themself :D)

Babyraids Japan – Smile Garden Performance
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Next)

Next up is “Cinderalla Ja irarenai (โ€œใ‚ทใƒณใƒ‡ใƒฌใƒฉใ˜ใ‚ƒใ„ใ‚‰ใ‚Œใชใ„โ€)” which is quite fast-paced and high also, before they closing the performance with— more guess. My fave song “Yoake Brand New Days”! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜›

For “Yoake Brand New Days” at Smile Garden — well what can i say. It’s already a “high” song to begin with– i keep on doing the high jumps during this song, and everyone else is doing it also which makes it more awesome…lol…everyone just can’t seems to stand still xD But the best part really comes like 3/4 of the song, after they do the “Kecha” parts and they start the “Yettaiya” chant. Then Suddenly. LightSticks / UO’s ALL OVER THE PLACE. Yep they thrown them up in the air. !! It. Was. Awesome.

Crazy High Babyraids Performance !! Look at those Flying Lightsticks in the air !! Best #TIF Moment so far for me ๐Ÿ˜€
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Next)

Actually some of the Wotas already done the same thing (throwing Lightsticks/ UO’s up to the sky) during “BellRings Girls Heart” — Day 1 Smile Garden performance, but for some reason, i felt that this one (the babyraids one) is much better… organized? Lol. Dunno what’s the word for it, but it’s just.epic. Haha. Glad i was here for the closing segment, as i enjoyed every second of it. ๐Ÿ˜€

Oh btw, below is the link to youtube clips of the “Lightstick throwing segment” during Yoake Brand new days.

Anyways, the whole Babyraids Japan performance at smile garden is just awesome. After that performance i basically didnt care for the rest of the #TIF already even though next up we still got “Up up Girls” — and then the “Smile garden finale” segment. Haha. But still, to me the “official ending” for #TIF2016 would be the Babyraid’s “Yoake brand new days” performance ๐Ÿ˜›

This is the full setlist anyways.

Babyraids Japan @ Smile Garden 7th August Night Time:
1. Charinko Idol
2. Wahaha
3. Level 1
4. Cinderalla Ja irarenai (โ€œใ‚ทใƒณใƒ‡ใƒฌใƒฉใ˜ใ‚ƒใ„ใ‚‰ใ‚Œใชใ„โ€)
5. Yoake Brand New Days

Yep after that is “Up Up Girls” and the “Smile Garden closing segment”, but i’m just too tired so i just went all the way back to sit down and rest with my friend. Haha. I was too tired to think, but if i remember correctly “Up Up Girls” got sing the “Party People Alien” and then “Uppercut”? during the closing segment.

And also, Dorothy Little Happy (together with Fudanjuku, Kikka, Up Up girls, etc) singing their old trademark song “Demo Sayonara“…haha. It’s been a while since i saw that song Live (well, i didnt care much about DLH after their breakups … basically…Lol).

Anyways, that should be that. The Smile Garden Ending is quite awesome even though i wasnt really paying much attention– But still, what an end to the festival– it was great. ๐Ÿ˜€

Closing Notes:

After all finished and done, me and my friends decided to gather outside Zepp Diver at the Gundam Statue area to take a Group Picture together. All the south/east asian wotas gather together for a Group Picture to be taken…there’s so much of us !!

I think when i first went to #TIF2012, i didnt see that much foreigners…maybe i can count fingers, and the festival back then surely isn’t really “gaijin friendly” compared to today lol. Yep, it’s been a long way since then, nowadays i have much more friends interested in coming along for the Tokyo Idol Festival. Especially after they starting to give away “free gaijin pass” — starting from last year, haha. ๐Ÿ˜› Lets hope they keep this up in the future as well (free gaijin pass xD)

So yeah, this year 3-days-festival i think is one of the best #TIF to date. Of course it is far from perfect, but still good nonetheless. Not sure if i will attend next year #TIF (i always wanted to stop going TIF ever since 2014, but that doesnt seems to work very well isnt it…lol) so let’s just see what happens in the future. Haha.

Til Then, next time. Thanks to all my friends i met during #TIF2016 — it was a blast, maybe (?) we can meet up again next year? Hahaha ๐Ÿ˜€

Group Picture after #TIF2016 Ends

Ok…my blog post isnt really done yet…still got the next 2 days left of my Japan trip (8th and 9th of August 2016) lol, but i shall leave that for the next update…haha.

Japan Summer Trip 2016 โ€“ TIF2016 Day 2

Posted: August 13, 2016 by InfinityZer0 in Japan!!

So here we are, the 2nd Day of #TIF2016. Had a great sleep since we stayed in an apartement and Odaiba — plus, that means we dont have to wake up too early for #TIF, since it’s just a few stations away from our place haha. I think it’s also possible to walk there, but under this hot weather…no.fricking.way. Hahaha. Anyways, began the day with my friends cooking noodles (thx to the Kitchen! so we can cook) for Breakfast, ate it at the balcony while enjoying the Odaiba Views xD ๐Ÿ˜€

Early Morning breakfast at the balcony~ xD

6th August 2016 โ€“ TIF2016 Day 2

After breakfast, went out from our apartement at like,10:00 AM (yeah, no need to rush), and we stopped by to Smile Garden first to collect our 2nd Day tickets. After that, went back straight to the Market Place for the #TGIF2016 Areas.

I secretly taking pix of Staff taking pix the gals during the #TGIF segment.

Now…Remember what i said yesterday about the #TGIF queue? Yep. Maybe on Friday, there isn’t much to queue, but today ? The queue is quite long, and i MISSED the opportunity to 2shot with Jun Amaki on the 1st session in the morning because the tickets already SOLD OUT. Man. Big Mistake thinking that yesterday the queue wasn’t that bad so today i came unprepared…turns out that it was too much worse — and that i should’ve come here much earlier. ๐Ÿ™

Because of this, my first half of the day plan totally changed, as i have to go for the 2nd session with Jun Amaki, which is the “Janken Tourney” session. To remind you, the 1st session of #TGIF is important because its a straight-away Bikini 2shot. No nonsense, the girls already in Bikini. :/ Now that i missed that, i have no choice to go for the 2nd session (Janken one), which luckily, i managed to get two tickets. I dont really like the Janken really, i mean, i know you might get more interaction with them, but you still need to win the Janken before they strip into their bikinis…Lol. We’ll get to more of that later, during the event.

some of the #TGIF 2shot tix Secured!!

Anyways after buying the tickets, i went straight to the Hot Stage for Cheeky Parade. Got in quite late, i think after the first or 2nd song already started, (i think during “Cheeky Fighter?) so i missed some moments there. Besides other songs they sing which i forgot the name. they also sing their latest single “Hands Up which recently just grew on me. Yeah, i still didnt liked it much compared to the other chikipa’s single– but it wasn’t all that bad as i originally thought, lol.

Cheeky Parade @ The Hot Stage
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

After Chikipa finished at the hot stage, i went back to the #TGIF segment at the Marketplace areas. Yes— the #TGIF is still on my mind that moment – But actually im quite pissed. Why you ask? My original plan is to stay at the hot stage from Chikipa all the way until LinQ, but now that plan been ruined and i need to get out for the 2nd TGIF segment with Jun Amaki. Sooo, because of that, i decided to take more Bikini 2shots with the other girls. Meh. Since i’m already outside at the TGIF, why the hell not. In the end i just googled some of the bikini gals name on the spot and google images them one by one which one (the gravure lol) caught my eye. Hahahaha. Since i dont know them at all, might as well google first xD ๐Ÿ˜€

So in the end i took pictures with “Mai Tsukamoto (she is damn hot in real life), “Reika Shinjo” (so so only in real life), FesTive member Suzuki Mitsuki (I only take with her because FesTive coming to Jakarta on the 20th of August, so maybe take one now just for fun xD) and lastly of course “Jun Amaki”. There are others i want to take, but sadly sold out. So these will have to do.

2shot with Mai Tsukamoto During #TGIF2016 segment

2shot with Reiko Shinjo During #TGIF2016 segment

2shot with FEstive Member Suzuki Mitsuki During #TGIF2016 segment

2shot with Jun AmakiDuring #TGIF2016 segment

I spent like 1 and half hour at the #TGIF booth and it’s really hot outside. By “HOT” not only the weather, but also the girls over there, standing in bikinis. ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ Dammit. I wish it was easier to get the tickets for the 2nd and 3rd day of #TGIF, i really dont mind if i took pictures one by one with them Lol. Like i said before — there are some girls i also want also — but the tickets already sold out– or either that, i dont know their names…Lol. Oh well. :/

Also, during Jun Amaki Janken, i just told her that im a foreigner, and i will use “Rock” for my janken. And she actually purposely lose to me, as she use “Scissors” agaisnt my “Rock” before stripping into her bikinis, lol. So yay, simple win. The same thing goes for the 2nd tickets, i told her “Rock” and she use “Scissors”. I guess it’s one of those “gaijin” priviledge? Lol. But she was really nice indeed.

After the #TGIF moments done (Thank God!! i can go back to the Hot Stage peacefully), i went back to the hot stage, and to my horror, the queue to go inside is Damn LONG already..Dammit…and all these because i missed the early morning #TGIF segment and had to go outside from the hot stage to participate the 2nd #TGIF session :/

Super Long Queue for the Hot stage — i think for Team Syachihoko?

So i managed to get in during Passpo but i think by the time i reach inside – it is already halfway. :/ So again, i missed half of the performances (just like Chikipa earlier), and i blame it to the #TGIF segment. But after all these, thankfully – it’s all smooth ride since i can just focus on performances now without thinking much about the market place areas.

Anyways, some of the passpo songs they sing at the hot stage includes “Honey Dish”, “Bachelorette wa Owaranai”, and “Mudai”. Well, at least that’s what i’ve seen anyways.

Passpo @ The Hot Stage
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

After Passpo it’s BiSH turns to perform. And just as i thought…their performance at the Hot Stage is quite Predictable, which is….none other than Hoshi Ga Matataru Youru Ni” for 6 times in a row !!! Yes, you got that right…SAME DAMN SONG for six times in a row!! ๐Ÿ˜

I mean, 3 times singing the same song is already overkill…but 6 times??? That’s crazy. I mean, it’s still pretty fun, but it DOES GETS BORING after a while. Oh well, it’s BisH. What do you expect i guess. haha

BisH @ The Hot Stage
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

Anyways, after BiSH finished performing, i managed to squeeze quite in front of the stage for “Babyraids Japan. Maybe like, there’s only 4-5 person in front of me, so that’s quite near already. ๐Ÿ˜€

For the 1st “Babyraids Japan” song is Cinderalla Ja irarenai (“ใ‚ทใƒณใƒ‡ใƒฌใƒฉใ˜ใ‚ƒใ„ใ‚‰ใ‚Œใชใ„”)…i think this is the first time i heard/or see this song live. So i still dont know much about the song that time haha. For the 2nd song they sang their old sold “S.O.K which is quite high song xD. Then they also sing “Baby Kiss” which is quite funny, (especially during the Den-chan solo lines part xD) Man, she is really good in “fishing” fans lol.

Babyraids Denchan doing her best fishing fans during “Baby Kiss”
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

The last 3 songs is “Tora Tora Tiger”, “Babyraids” and then lastly…Yoake Brand New Days again !! ๐Ÿ˜€ Woohoo!! The performance is really great, and since i manage to see them quite close in front — it is even better ๐Ÿ˜€ I dont care if i got pushed / squeezed left to right – since i just focused on the performance at the time…so i must admit – i really, really have fun there haha. ๐Ÿ˜€

Babyraids Japan @ The Hot Stage
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

After Babyraids Japan performance finished, i went to the back areas of Hot Stage to rest and sit down for a little bit lol. Anyways this is the full setlist for Babyraids @ Hot Stage

Babyraids Japan Day 2 Hot Stage Performance:
1. Cinderalla Ja irarenai (“ใ‚ทใƒณใƒ‡ใƒฌใƒฉใ˜ใ‚ƒใ„ใ‚‰ใ‚Œใชใ„”)
2. S.O.K
3. Baby Kiss
4. Tora Tora Tiger
5. Babyraids
6. Yoake Brand New Days

After Babyraids Japan, there is this segment with Mari Yaguchi and Tsuji Nozomi of ex Morning Musume / Mini Moni Members…man they’re now damn old already hahaha.

Mari Yaguchi and Tsuji Nozomi @ The Hot Stage
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

This segment is mostly talking / MCs though. Basically they bring up a bunch of members of the current idol groups to be interviewed, and most of them actually used to audition for Morning Musume before (i think), and failed….haha… it is quite interesting actually xD They also sing some of the old HalloPro songs like Love Machine towards the end hahaha. There’s also sound problem during this segment so they have to redo the Love Machine song twice haha.

“Dance together” segment with Yaguchi Mari and Tsuji Nozmi @ Hot Stage
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

After that it’s Wasuta’s turn, and they appears on the Hot Stage with their new (all-black) outfit. Haha. I only know Wasuta’s “Inu Neko” songs, so nothing much to say about their performance here xD

Wasuta @ Hot Stage
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

Actually during #TIF, i not sure if you can actually take pictures/videos of Wasuta. I mean, no one is doing it (especially yesterday). Today there is someone taking pictures at the front row — but only few people (one and two) and just for a little while then they stopped. Not sure if they actually forbide the fans from taking vids/pix during the performance, because i thought its suppose to be their trademarks? (Being able to take their pix during performance?)..hmmmmm.

Anyways, last up at the Hot Stage for the day (for me anyways haha) is LinQ. Ever since they came to Jakarta, i become quite addicted to them xD ๐Ÿ˜€ Some of the song they sing i can remember and know the name is “Wessai ! Gassai!”, “Supreme” and “Hanabi!!”

LinQ @ Hot Stage
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

After LinQ is done at the hot stage, i went to rest abit at Zepp Diver City Mall while refilling my water at the food court areas. While thinking for my next plan, i actually thought of going to the “Sky Stage” to see “Idol College” (i didnt seems to have any luck with Idol College in the last 2 years of TIF, lol). But it could be a gamble because i dont want to go there finding out that the queue is damn LONG already LOL. So in the end, i gave up and just go for the easy route– which is…the Grand Market Areas Lol.

Just to my luck, today Passcode is doing a free handshake again ! and this time, i’m not to be denied as i queued quite early for it…hehehe ๐Ÿ˜€ Finally manage to handshake and talk with all the passcode members, which is good to me! I can’t attend their Zepp Diver City Live on the 8th of August because i’ve got other things to do (*cough cough* Tsubomis event and PARMS Kamen Joshi theatre). So yeah, this handshake is the last time i seen them during this entire Japan Trip….oh well ~

After the handshake with Passcode members, actually im doing nothing at all. Dont know where else to go so i just rest for a while waiting for my next plan, which is the Idol Sparkling Night segment starring Ebisu Muscats and friends. Bump into my singapore friend who bought me the tickets for Sparkling night (you have to “preorder” the tickets first as its easily sold out…well what can you say. its DOLL FACTORY for god’s sake. So cramped. So little space. And you have to pay additional 2500 yen for it. Lol.). After resting abit more, finally went to Doll Factory for the Idol Sparkling Night Segment.

Idol Sparkling Night @ Doll Factory 19:30

So for the Idol Sparkling Night segment, it is really held inside Doll Factory…lol. But luckily, they removed the “T” shaped stage thingy in the middle to give more space for the audience, so at least we have more breathing space inside this stupid Warehouse. Yeah, out of all the stages in #TIF, i hate Doll Factory the most. They should remove this stage in the future and use other / better indoor stages to replace it. :/

Also, actually i have very low expectation of this segment since i dont know much of the Ebisu Muscat songs. But to my surprise, it’s actually very entertaing. Besides Ebisu Muscat, there is also Marsmallow 3D and also Million Girl Z and some others — and honestly, i thought the Marshmallow 3D’s performance is quite nice also. Haha. I mean…they’re AV idols for god sake…they’re not really suited for singing and dancing xD But i think they’re did quite well as an “idol”.

Also, another kudos for the Host/MC Ijiri Okada— as he is very funny throughout the segment. I dont really understand japanese, but can see the audience loves him so much — especially the segment where he actually went to take a personal belongings from the Ebisu Muscat members — and then “Licked” them “Ijiri Okada” style…xD What a guy. ๐Ÿ˜€

Ebisu Muscat @ Doll Factory
(Images Courtesy of Ebisu Muscat official Twitter)

After all the performance is done (yeah, im “fast forward-in’ — since i dont know the song titles lol) there is a meet and greet next door. You can hi5 with all the Ebisu Muscat members if you buy their goods i think. But too bad there isnt any 2shot options with Ebisu Muscat members as i expected :/ So i skipped for their hi-5 (the queue is also damn long anyways) and went to 2shot with the other performers.

In the end,i decided to queue for 2shot with the Marshmallow 3D members Shinomi Yayuri” and guess what….the 2shot with her is only 500 yen!!, and you can do (well, virtually) any pose you want!! Hahaha. I choose to do the hug pose cuz some people is doing it — and she is okay with it xD ๐Ÿ˜€

2shot with Av Star – Shinomi Yayuri

Besides her, i also want to take pix with other members, then i see the time is getting late (also the queue is quite slow because some of the lines is too long). So in the end, i also missed the opportunity to take group shot with Million Girls Z (for 2000 yen) beacuse by the time i finihsed my 2shot with Marsmahllow 3D, the ticket is all gone already :/ Oh well. That’s just mean i saved alot of money during this segment. Originally i had prepared some “funds” for 2shots just in case Ebisu Muscat got some kind of 2shot or group shot event. Hahaha. ๐Ÿ˜›

Ebisu Muscat After the Hi5 Event in #TIF2016
(Images Courtesy of Ebisu Muscat official Twitter)

After the Ebisu Muscat performance is done, i finally head back to my apartement to rest.~

Closing Note:

For me the 2nd day of #TIF2016 is not as fun as the 1st day of #TIF. Mainly because i got screwed with the #TGIF segment in the morning — resulting me going out and back in to the Hot Stage again (waste so much time there).

Although i only saw several performances today, it is still good — as Hot Stage performance easily gives you 30 Minutes of screen time — DOUBLE than the Smile Garden or other stage performance — so if you see your favorite idols at the Hot Stage, it should be worth it. Haha.

Also glad i managed to get the Free handshake with Passcode this time round, having missing it yesterday (lol). And the Ebisu Muscat performance @ the Sparkling night isnt so bad either. Probably the only bad thing about it, is that you need to PAY the additional 2500 yen, lol.

So that’s about it for the day. Wait up for my next post for the Last Day coverage of #TIF2016 (day 3). Meanwhile, here is my quick summary of Day 2 of #TIF2016

Japan Summer Trip 2016 โ€“ TIF2016 Day 1

Posted: August 13, 2016 by InfinityZer0 in Japan!!

Finally. It’s my 5th year in a row attending “Tokyo Idol Festival”, so it’s “Archievement Unlock” i guess? Haha. Just like my previous blog post, i didnt manage to update my TIF moment in real time as i’ve been too busy and too tired to do anything other than “urya oiii” and “resting”. So i’ll try to do my best to recap all the important moments during this year #TIF2016. ๐Ÿ˜›

Will i’ll be at “TIF2017” next year? Who knows!

Hello there gundam statue! We met again this year ๐Ÿ˜€

5th August 2016 – TIF2016 Day 1

The last 3 days, im on a budget mode staying at “Capsule” hotel and “Manga Cafe”. For the next 3days during the TIF period, this time i decided to do something i’ve never tried before – which is staying “INSIDE” Odaiba area ! ๐Ÿ˜€ I know, the hotels area inside odaiba is damn too expensive, but these days we have “Airbnb” and to my luck, we managed to find one quite cheap (BUT GOOD !!) apartement in Ariake (just few stops away from Aomi/Telecom Centre station in Odaba.

The AirBNB place is here

The Apartement cost around 250$++ SGD (?) per nite (or should be around that, i forgot the exact ammount) and we shared it by 6 person, so in the end it became VERY CHEAP! There’s a bad thing though…the owner is not really responsive few days before our check in date- which made us really nervous. I mean, usually before check in the owner will brief you about the location and bla bla bla, for this one, even i have to search the location myself ! Didn’t really hear much about the owner until few days before the check in date (and still – not much details about where we should meet, and vice versa). Not to mention, on his reviews page there are few “cancellation” messages as well ! Ugh…what a gamble.

I also blamed it for my lack of experience using airbnb (and *ehm ehm* lack of budget/save money since we staying 3 nights there), i feel that i should’ve checked in Odaiba one day BEFORE TIF, instead on the day itself. So yeah, much headache on the day itself, we have to carry our luggage inside Odaiba and wait for the owner’s reply. We dont really have any backup plans since all the capsule and hostel most of them already Full since its the summer holidays. I really dont know what should we do if the owner didnt turn up really. Thankfully, it all went well though. Once we reached odaiba, my friend decided to borrow a phone from someone and contacted the owner. Then — thank GOD we finally reach him and we can do an early check in ! ๐Ÿ˜€

The apartement is very good though. Very spacious, and plenty of space for 6 person. 2 of us sleep at the bed, another 2 on the sofas area, and for me and my other friend at the futon. It’s very clean also. Overall, our “gamble” staying here is really worth it ๐Ÿ˜€ We can even hang around in the balcony areas each nights to enjoy the Odaiba views lol.

Our odaiba apartement~! Not bad at all ๐Ÿ˜€ Complete with cool showers/bath tub/kitchen

Panorama View of the apartement

So we checked in to the apartement around like, 830-9am and we just put all our luggage there before heading to the Smile Garden areas to collect our “free/cheapo” gaijin TIF tickets. ๐Ÿ˜€ Oh — another thing. For this year Gaijin tickets, you need to collect the tickets each day at the Smile Garden areas since they only give you daily tickets… Which means — everyday you need to come back there for the tickets. :/ Oh well.

TIF2016 Official began now!!

Since we have to wait the owner early morning and drop our luggage and stuffs. Basically my schedule/plans for Day 1 #TIF2016 changed by a bit. Reached smile garden quite late (around 10am+) so i have no choice to skip the Palet performance at the Sky Stage for the opening act :/ Oh well…this means, another year without “Sky Stage” access again. This is the 2nd or 3rd year in a row that i never went to the sky stage? I also dont remember honestly lol, it’s been a while. Instead of the Sky Stage, i went ahead to the Market Place area for goods.

TIF2016 Marketplace Areas

Friday Morning at the Grand Market area, is too early for me. Some of the buppan/goods isnt open yet and you can see the staffs still preparing their stuffs. One thing i noticed though, that the booth areas for the “TGIF” segment (aka – the bikini fest areas) is quite empty. Not many people there, and you can just buy on the spot without queuing.

TIF2016 #TGIF areas with mini swimming pools…lol

This is MUCH MUCH different later on Saturday and Sunday, where the queue is crazy as hell. My first #TIF2016 regret so far probably, is that i never spend that much time in the #TGIF areas on Friday, because today, there isnt so many people and the queue is much much more relaxed. Somemore, i was at the area for some time — i could easily buy and spam tickets (its only 1000 yen for bikini 2shot — mind you!) and take with each single of them lol. Then again, i dont really know the idols at the #TGIF segment for Fridays…so yeah. :/

Although the “TGIF” Areas is basically a “free show” if you dont buy anything since you can see the idols there wearing bikinis and doing their stuffs…lol…i mean, seeing the fans reaction with the bikini idols there already damn entertaining itself xD Some of them gets too nervous during 2shots and its kinda funny too see hahaha ๐Ÿ˜€ Really too bad that i dont know some of the idols/models name though, because i found some really “sexy” ones there. Oh well.

I was at the Grand Market Area until 12PM (starting from the time i got my wristband), it took much time for me to look around all the market place and remember their numbers for future visits (to safe time). My first performance of the day is actually X21 at Smile Garden!!.

First Performance of TIF2016 for me… X21 At Smile Garden

Yeah, i went all the way back from Marketplace to Smile Garden just to see X21 for 15 minutes….lol. And what’s worse — some of their main members is not performing today :/ Like their captain Miyu Yoshimoto (which is my favorite…damn!!) is not performing, so this performance is abit let down for me. They did their latest single “Natsu Dayo!! which is one of my fave, so yeah — that’s the consolation for me.

X21 minus Miyu Yoshimoto is kinda like… AKB48 without Aachan/Yuko? ๐Ÿ™
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

After X21, i went to the Doll Factory stage to see Passcode. To my amazement, the queue is pretty damn long (!!) and its only like…12:30PM on the first day ?? (wow, i cant imagine how is the queue when bigger idols gets to perform here later on). I went in first during Ayumikurikamaki performance. Their songs actually not so bad, haha. And in the end, i keep seeing them (Ayumikurikamaki) for like…3 times? During the entire #TIF haha. (not that i want to, but their timing is always near to someone i wanted to see lol).

For the Passcode performance is not bad, they sing my fav song “Club Kids Never Die” and also they sang “Seize The Day”. Also, one of the member “Imada Yuna” is kinda “sick” since she have to stay sitting down most of the time. She still can scream though— especially during the “Club Kids Never Die” part LOL!! xD ๐Ÿ˜€

Passcode @ Doll Factory…

After that performance, i went back to the Grand Market area for Meet and Greet with the idols. Yeah, i have decided that all the meet and greets and buying stuffs should be done today, so time to get busy ๐Ÿ˜€ I went to take 2shot with Palet‘s new member Riitochan and also Ex BiS Member >Yufu Terashima. For Palet i use mobile phone for 2shot, while for Yufu is a cheki/polaroid 2shot (no sign though).

Event Ticket for Today

The other ticket is for 2shot with Call Me Member Mimori-chan — but that one is at different timing on 4PM. I also thinking to have handshake or something with X21 members since its also at the same timing with “Call me” session, but since “Miyu Yoshimoto” wasnt here today…i decided to save money. Haha. I also bought the Passcode Virtual Tshirt for 3500 yen. It also come with a “2shot” tickets– but for some reason the ticket can only be used for “next” event and not during TIF, which means…well yeah. Not my luck ๐Ÿ˜› Oh well.

2Shot with Palet’s Riito chan

2shot with Yufu Terashima

After the 2shots, i went to the nearby stages to kill some time (Festival Stage) which is just located next to the Gundam Statue and outside the Market area…just nice. I saw StarMarie at 14:05-14:20 and GEM (yay!!) at 14:45-15:00. Forgot the setlist for either two, but i remember GEM Singing “Spotlight” again, lol.

After GEM, i rushed straigh to Smile Garden to see Wasuta. Did a power-walk from Festival Stage to Smile Garden and it took like 7-8 minutes. When i reached Smile Garden, Wasuta already started performing their first song which is Inu Neko Seisshun Massakari” Lol.

Wasuta Performance at Smile Garden
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

You know, in the end i managed to hear that Wasuta’s “Inu Neko” song for like…. 4-5x during this entire Japan trip? xD Before this i only saw the “cover group” version done by a local cover group in Indo called “Lumina Scarlet” (they often do a cover of Inuneko during their performances/events) but this time, it’s the REAL thing allright…and i havent even count the “Babyraids x Wasuta” collabo later on Day 3 (but we’ll get to that later xD) ๐Ÿ˜€

After Wasuta performance, i went back to Zepp Diver City Mall to rest for a while, and also to refill my water. At this time,it’s already like 15:30PM and i only managed to see like, 6 idol groups so far (X21, Ayumikurakimaki, Passcode, Starmarie, GEM, and Wasuta). Haha. I guess i’m waaaay too relaxed this #TIF, i skipped soo many performance in between. I rested for awhile until 16:00PM when it’s my turn to take 2shot with Call Me member Mimori Chan.

After the 2shot, i surprised that they gave us some time to chat with the members for a bit (i was expecting the staff to rush me for the next guy, but nope) so i decided to talk with her for a while. Mimori Chan still remembers me from Jakarta– during the “JMusic Lab” performance back then when “Dorothy Little Happy came” to Jakarta in 2014– so that’s a good thing haha. She say it’s been awhile and some other things i didnt understand (xD) but yea, just straight to the point. I want to have a longer chat with her but i suppose you need to buy a separate handshake tix with that, haha. But overall, had a very pleasant experience with her. So After 2 years, finally can meet her again up-close- and personal. Quite happy ๐Ÿ˜€

2shot with Call Me – Mimori chan

After the 2shot, i bumped with some of my other friends from Malaysia and Singapore, so we decided to rest abit more at the Grand Market areas. To kill some more time, i just hang around and take a look at the “TGIF” booth nearby, checking out for people play water-gun-sprays with the idols lol. I dont want to spend money to play Water guns. Seeing peoeple play is enough xD

Also, im quite late to realize that there is a “free handshake” session with Passcode. Missed it by a small margin only (maybe like 5 minutes?) then the staff cut the queue and wouldnt let anymore people to queue in the line…Damnit. Almost spoiled my day, because i really want to talk to the Passcode members, but oh well ๐Ÿ™ Moving on to the next performance. No time to waste.

Near to 5pm I decided that i should go back to Smile Garden for Passpo and Predia. On the way back to Smile Garden, bumped into some unknown idols giving us flyers. Saw people taking 2shots with them for free also, so i decided to take a free 2shots also…haha. Sorry though — i dont remember her name at all !

Free 2-shot with Random Idols

Continue to Smile Garden. Now for Passpo and Predia. Reached on time just when the performance about the start — i think you can even see me on the #TIF footage when im just about to arrive xD

Passpo Performance at Smile Garden
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

For the Passpo Performance itself though, the setlist imo is so so only, consist of slower songs which you cannot really chant for most of the time. They did sang “Pretty Lie” though, like they always do during TIF every year haha. Annnnyaaaaaaaarghhhh~~…Oh yeah, they also sing the song “Tracks” minus Mako-chan, and i think they changed the lyrics slighly abit…its kinda sad seeing them perform the song without Mako-chan, so i think they changed the lyrics for a tribute to her. ๐Ÿ™ Oh mannn…

Anyways, here is the setlist for Smile Garden.

Passpo – Smile Garden 5th august 2016 (17:10-17:25)
1. Shoujo Hikou
2. Pretty Lie
3. “I”
4. Tracks (😭😭 no makkochan)
5. Bachelorette wa Owaranai

After Passpo is Predia’s turn. Im not gonna lie that i didnt know some of the song names (lol) but i recognize one song, i think its called “You Slipped Away” ? That one isnt bad. Haha. Did nothing much during this performance other than staring at Maeda Yuu for 15 minutes straight LOL!! ๐Ÿ˜€

Predia Performance at Smile Garden
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

After Predia, i bumped with some of my friends, so we rushed straigh to the Ship Stage to see 9Nine and Babyraids Japan back to back. Haha. Reach just in time to see 9Nine and their 4 members Line up without “Umika Kawashima” :/ Well, at least Ukky is still there, haha.

For the performance of 9nine they sang one of my favorite song “RE: but….Too bad they didnt sing “Shining Star” though, was waiting for it but it never came. Haha. Here are the other songs they sing during the Ship Stage.

9nine – Ship Stage (18:00-18:20)
1. Re:
2. Darling Darling
3. My only One
4. 9nine festival

After 9nine,is time for Babyraids Japan to Perform. Yay. They start the performance with a slow song “Pretty Little Baby” followed by a towel song “Natsuiro Party“. Haha. After that they sing “Wahaha” which is a coupling song from the (“Senkou Believer” single) which is totally nice actually…got hooked to it, especially during Naosuke’s part where she did the rap and throw away her Hat at the end of it – that was quite awesome xD ๐Ÿ˜€

Babyraids Japan @ The Ship Stage
(Pix Courtesy of Babyraids Japan Official Twitter)

The last song is definitely the best of the bunch, which is “Yoake Brand New Days”!! I have been waiting this song for a while !! IMO, it is one of their “highest” song, which is why they sing the song almost at the end (for the last song) during Live, haha. In the end, for all 3 days of #TIF i get to see Babyraids performing this song at least once a day. so i am really HAPPY. ๐Ÿ˜€

Babyraids Japan – Ship Stage (18:20-18:40)
1. Pretty Little Baby
2. Natsuiro Party
3. Wahaha / (“ใƒฏใƒใƒ”)
4. Baby Revolution
5. Yoake Brand new Days

Overall, The performance is super high, and i think that this is the BEST moments/highlights of the day for me. ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ Made me totally forgot about the “free passcode” handshake i missed just a while ago lol~

At this moment i also started to think that i actually liked Babyraids Japan more than Passpo…uhh ohhhh….maybe my obsession towards Passpo is starting to Fade Away already…i dont know. I just felt that Babyraids performance is much more “fresh” and much more fun. Haha. But i still like Both though….xD ๐Ÿ˜€

Ok Moving on for the last segment of #TIF2016 for me. By this time, its around night time, and my energy is nearly all gone/depleted…LOL. At first i want to stand by for the “Idol Clubbing Night” segment at the hotstage, but at the last minute i decided that i should just go for Smile Garden because i want to see Passcode…yeah. Haha. Still can’t get over the fact that i missed their free handshake >_< Either way, the only segment i wanted to see during the Idol CLubbing Night segment is the Cyber Japan Dancers which didnt really appears until so late at 21:00PM. Haha.

So, time to head for the last destination for the day, which is the Smile Garden. The last 6 performance for the Smile Garden stage would be – Call Me, Lovely Doll, Party Rockets GT, Fudanjuku, Passcode(YAY!), and Bellring Girls Heart.

So, starting for “Call Me” part. I am damn tired already, but i still decided to move quite in front so i can get a closer look towards Mimori Chan lol….they sing my fav song also which is “Step By Step”…nice.

Call Me at Smile Garden
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

After “Call Me” Performance over, the next one is Lovely Doll performance. I actually went back to the behind areas of Smile Garden during this segment to sit down rest. I think i even went out for a bit to get a free drinks they’re giving away near the TGU booth areas/Info Centre Entrance areas. Haha. The same thing during the Party Rockets GT and Fudanjuku performance. I am too tired already so i just sat down and watch from far far away near the trees area lol…plus, im saving all my leftover energy for Passcode. ๐Ÿ˜€

Passcode @ Smile Garden TIF2016 Day 1 – Night Time

So the time has come for Passcode at Smile Garden, i prepared myself, then rushed myself to go in front/middles area to get a better spot with all the other Passcode Fans. Yeah. I know,i know — going up in front in Smile Garden requires a courage, and it means you ARE READY to be pushed/squeezed/moshed or whatever coming your way — you can’t even complain about it… Because, if you want to be safe in the “battlefield” or so-we-call the smile garden at night, then you better stay at the back and see from far away. Haha. But i’m already prepared for this, so i thought…man, let’s just do this all the way. xD

So the first song starts. And its “Club Kids Never Die”…uhh ok…This is definitely DAMN AWESOME XD I got quite high during this, and so are the other fans. I saw some of the BOND’s (the #TIF security team) got quite busy during passcode to stop some of the fans who went overboard with moshing/pushing and lifting. Hahaha. But still awesome though.

Then 2nd song came. Oh my god. It’s Never Sleep Again which is 2nd favorite Passcode songs…just awesome xD ๐Ÿ˜€ Went quite crazy during this part — especialy when Imada Yuna did her “screamo” parts as usual and again some of the fans went overboard again with lifting and stuffs hahaha… Thankfully i managed to survive in one piece after the end of the song. LOL!! ๐Ÿ˜€

Passcode Imada Yuna doing her best at screaming
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

After that it’s the 3rd song which is “Seize The Day”. It’s a much slower song compared to the other two songs lol. But then, during this song there’s this crazy guy with lightsticks all over his body which completely “flew” towards the front part near the end of the song…lol !!! It is quite funny if you see it up-front, especially if you see that he came from all the way to from the back to the front areas…haha ๐Ÿ˜€

The Infamous Passcode fan during “Seize the Day”
(Images Courtesy of some random people on Facebook/Twitter)

So yeah, here is the setlist for Passcode at Smile Garden Night time.

Passcode – Smile garden (20:10-20:25 PM)
1. Club Kids never die
2. Never sleep again
3. Seize the Day

After Passcode, is another crazy group…”Bellring Girls Heart. But since im not really into them, i just went back to the back areas to see with my other friends. Haha. Another crazy performance, and again the fans went abit crazy during some parts, and we can see the BOND’s (the #TIF security team) escorting some of the overboard fans to outside. hahaha. Around the end we can see also some fans throwing Lightsticks up in the air — i think this starting to become a trend already…(haha. tell you more all about it on the last day during Babyraids Japan Performance xD)

Bellrings Girls Heart Performance – Last one on Smile Garden Day 1
(Images Courtesy of Fuji TV Footages)

When Bellring finished performing, at first i want to go back to the apartement already since im too tired…but then at the last minute i decided that i want to see Cyber Japan Dancers, so i went back to Hot Stage’s too see the “Idol Clubbing Night” Segment haha.

During Cyber Japan Dancers turn — there’s an audio glitch in the middle of the 2nd song haha, so in the end they have to re-do their 2nd song from the start…. which means…more BIKINI TIME!! Hahaha xD But too bad im waaaay too tired already, so can’t do anything much but to enjoy the view…(boobs and ass…xD) ๐Ÿ˜€

Closing Note:

After Cyber Japan Dancer finished performing i just left and go back to my apartement to rest. Man what a day. The Funny thing, when i made the planning/schedule for the 1st day of #TIF2016, it supposed to be boring. But now that i think about it, this day is very happening and there’s so much things going on, and its really fun.

Compared to the 2nd day of #TIF2016 tomorrow, i think this day is much better. Had more fun today for some reason haha ๐Ÿ˜€ As for tomorrow post…i shall leave it for the next post. Believe it or not i spent like 2 hours just trying to write and memorize what happened during the 1st Day of #TIF2016 Lol.

So til the next post…for my 2nd Day recap of TIF2016 ๐Ÿ˜€

Sleep at the Futon at my apartement….finally some rest time!

Japan Summer Trip 2016 – 2nd,3rd and 4th August 2016

Posted: August 11, 2016 by InfinityZer0 in Japan!!

Finally got time to update my blog…phew. In the past i always updated my blog real time while in japan, but these days i somehow wonder how i managed to do that, because i’m getting tired all the time…(well…Maybe im getting Old XD!! :D) Anyways, nowaydas i do wrote some notes here and there on my phone for easier recap for my blog post after i went back from my Japan trip. So i’ll start the Japan Trip post with the first few days of the trip, starting from 2nd, 3rd and the 4th August of 2016.

Japan Trip Day 1 – 2nd August 2016

Well…nothing much today. Arrived in Haneda Airport very late, around 22:30PM at night (because im using a cheapo airline Airasia). Went straight to get my sim card for 2500 yen at the Global WIFI counter in Haneda. I was planning to get the U-Mobile card, but somehow i can’t find it anywhere, so just went with the other option. Strangely though, they dont accept cash payment (for the Global Wifi counter in Haneda) so i have to use my friends Credit Card (we bought together in the end).

The Global WIFI Branch at Haneda Airport

I kinda regretted getting this card tho, even though its “cheap”, they only gave us 100MB per day (!!) before the speed goes down very slow :/ I remember i used CDJapan sim card last year and the Bandwidth is atleast 200MB/ day. And, Bmobile sim card the year before that also. They all seems to be better than this simcard. Oh well. Other than the bandwidth limit, the card is quite ok though. There’s also vending machine for sim card for 3500 yen, but i never tried it.

3500 yen Sim Card

Next time i go japan, maybe i should try other option for Sim Cards…now that i know i need at least 200mb/day lol. 100mb is just too little….a video “autoplay” function on Twitter on Facebook will just eat up all your bandwidth in one go, so got to be REALLY careful with social media apps…lol. I think maybe last time i didnt use social media apps that much while in japan, so the bandwidth doesn’t really bother me. But yeah, 100MB per day is still too little though!!!

Anyways, we head to the Manga Cafe in Shibuya for the night. The usual Manboo! manga cafe in Shibuya, udagawacho~ (1480 yen, 10 hours Midnight Plan). I posted the Review Before here, so i guess i dont have to go into details about this place anymore…haha. Took shower and rest, before i realized that it RAINEd around 3am to 5am in Shibuya…damn. I saw some news on TV also and some of the news is about Flood at some certain parts in Japan…(at that time- i only hope it didnt affect #TIF2016 at all…xD)

Rain / Flood news in Local Japan Tv

Manboo Manga Cafe for the Night

Japan Trip Day 2 – 3rd August 2016

Morning Came in Shibuya, and i didnt get that much sleep. Well…maybe at around 3 hours only. Took a shower at the Manga Cafe before heading out. At first we want to go to Akihabara first to look around, but then i decided that it would be too much and too hassle, because we’re going to the “A-Nation Island Resort Stage later at 2pm.

So in the end we went to Ebisu to meet my other indonesian friend and had dinner together, before heading straight to A-Nation Resort Stage at Yoyogi Stadium.

A-Nation Resort Stage at Yoyogi

My goal here is to see “Idol Street” groups of course, and that means Cheeky Parade, GEM and Wasuta. Especially the GEM and Cheeky Parade performance though, because my schedule doesnt allow me to see them that much During #TIF2016, so this is my only chance lol. Btw, in the end i really only saw GEM once during the trip, and that is during this A-nation. So good decision from me ! Before Idol Street, there’s a performance by I-Ris but i dont really know much of their songs lol.

Cheeky parade @ a-nation resort stage (3.8.2016) setlist:
1. Cheeky fighter
2. Bunbun 9nine
3. Hands up
4. Monst@r

GEM @ a-nation resort stage (3.8.2016)
1. We are gem
2. Spotlight
3. Baby love me
4. Party up

I didnt know some of the Wasuta song, as i only know the “Inu Neko” song (which, in the end, i managed to see at least 4-5 times during this trip Lol). At first, i didnt really like Cheeky Parade new single (“Hands Up”) but in the end it grew up on me a little. Also the same thing for GEM’s single (“Spotlight”). But for GEM single, i still didnt really like it that much xD

For Wasuta performance, they allowed us to take picture and even record videos of them ๐Ÿ˜€ And so,i took some photos, and recorded their Inu Neko Seishun Massakari performance as well.

Wasuta @ A-Nation

After Wasuta performance, there’s still more performance to come from “Houkago Princess” and some others, but since we really need to rush, we just left. First headed to Harajuku Daiso first to buy some cheapo 100 yen stuffs (my friend want to check out Harajuku first, so thats one of another reason haha), before finally we headed to the Hotel @ Iriya (the usual 1980 yen hostel) to check in, and then rest for a while.

The Usual 1980 yen Capsule Hotel At Iriya. Still one of my fave

After resting for a while, we went to Akihabara to buy some event tickets. We bought the event tickets for Tsubomi Event at 8th August 2016 (the day after TIF). Meet up with some other friends as well, so headed for a late dinner at Sukiya branch in Akihabara, before going back to the hotel again for a rest.

*Censored Pix* cuz some of us is shy for public blogs…XD

And basically that’s the end of the 2nd day in Tokyo…Up next for the next day~

Japan Trip Day 3 – 4th August 2016

Day 3…just one more day before TIF…it’s getting Closer now !! ๐Ÿ˜€ Actually There’s some other events i wanted to go today, but i feel tired and decided to walk around with my friends instead. First up, we went to Trio2 Shop in Nakano first, because we probably dont have time to revisit there in the last few days on the trip. Found some stuffs i wanted to buy and for my friends, so i spend like 1 hour here looking at 2nd hand stuffs lol.

First Stop of the Day….Trio2 Shop at Nakano

The funny thing about Trio2 shop, their AKB section is being reduced by a LARGE margin these days. I used to go to these shops during 2012-2013 for hunting AKB48 Photopacks back then (since i was a huge 48 fans back in the days), and during those days half of the shop is basically 48 stuffs. These days, it’s filled with many other stuffs instead lol ๐Ÿ˜€

Bought Kawaguchi Haruna 1st PB for 1080 yen. Not bad

In comparison to last time, really nothing much for 48 stuffs, even their photopacks i think is just the “Leftovers” lol. I noticed this as well at some of the other shops in Akiba (Liberty, and also the other Trio Shop in Akihabara), there are lesser and lesser shops selling 48 photopacks. Maybe people are finally getting Bored of AKB48 already?

After shopping at Trio Nakano, went back to Akihabara and then straight to another Trio shop again (lol) this time the branch at Akihabara. ๐Ÿ˜€ Sooo… More shopping sprees ensues xD After all the shopping sprees at Trio’s shops, we finally had a late lunch at Saizeriya Akihabara branch. In the end this place become our “meeting place” because of the reasonable food prices, and most importatly, the DRINKS REFILL !! It’s really such a deal during summer time like this- when you can get thirsty easily

Saizeriya for Lunch

Saizeriya Menu Prices

After lunch, we walk around in Akihabara more, before decided to go for “Idol College” event in SoftMap Akihabara. The entry is only 1000 yen, and you can get photopack and one coupon also (can be traded for handshake after show, or accumulated for 2shot or group shot), so yeah, its quite cheap and reasonable.

Idol College event tix @ Softmap (4th August 2016)

I used to chase around for Idol College back then during their “Yozora” single, but i’m much more casual to them these days (and my oshi non-chan no more already lol). They sang around 5 songs total during the event, but some i dont really know the titles. I only know their old songs they sing, such as “Ame Nochi Hare!” and “One for All!.

After the “Mini-Live” there’s the Meet and greet session. Handshake, 2shots/cheki and Group shot. I didnt really have anyone to take picture with (at first thinking of Shioka, or Ebi-chan) but decided to take a group picture with Idol College instead haha.

Idol College Group Shot @ SoftMap

Went back to Saizeriya afterwards to meet up some more friends from Singapore, Malaysia and even Thailand for one last meet-up before #TIF2016. Took group picture also, before we decided to call it a night, since we have a very LONG weekend ahead of us. Haha.

Group Picture before #TIF2016

Back at the hotel – still no sleep time for me. I still need to revise my #TIF schedule since the buppan timetables all come out already, as well the #TGIF2016 schedule. Really headache haha. In the end i can only sleep at around 3am, and woke up in around 6am…not enough sleep indeed xD ๐Ÿ˜€

So that’s about it for the first 3 days in Japan summer trip this year…the next Blog update should cover about the #TIF2016 *finally*!! But since i’m not doing it in real time as i did the previous year, i might forget one of two stuffs, so i guess i’ll just do some recaps of the important things only ๐Ÿ˜›

**Stay tune for more #TIF2016 Postwhore, coming up next~ **

TIF2016 Updates and Stuffs (Part 4)

Posted: July 25, 2016 by InfinityZer0 in Japan!!

Wohoo !! It’s about 10 more days until TIF2016 and i’m really hyped !! ๐Ÿ˜€ Finally all the performers, and timetables are out already (hurray for “Cheeky Parade” and “GEM” for this year TIF again!) and they even last minute added “SKE48”, and “NGT48″ Lol (not that i care of though!). Of course i’m still waiting for the buppan / greetings area timetables though, so until they’re released, it’s another waiting game altogether. Hurry up will you, TIF Staff !!

Latest Addition to TIF line Up, NGT48

so that’s makes it 3x 48 group during this TIF (“SKE48, NGT48, AKB48 Team 8”), and one 46 group (“Keyakizaka46”)…definitely the biggest TIF to date lol.

General TIF Updates

Another new updates from them is that we will also have a “TGIF” segment (stands for “Tokyo Gravure Festival 2016“) this year. And while not much details is known yet (and so-so performer list only so far, not much that im interest of) — i still support the ideas for having more BIKINI BABES at TIF2016. oooh yeahh. They also released a TIF2016 Gravure photoobook soon, i only hope those in the cover will also appears in “TGIF” segment as well lol…(yeah, i wish !! :D)

Thank God it’s Gravure !

Thank God it’s Gravure ! “Photobook”

There’s also some idols doing their “bikini debuts” for TIF2016, such as “Yui Sakurai” of Pinkbabies, and “Riito-chan” of Palet. Omg!! (both of them just turned 16 btw…LOL) Thank god for Summer time in Japan !!

More bikini godness

Also, another updates (that is not so important, haha)…After all those waiting about the “Special TIF Stages” for those who buy the Tshirts with special priviledge, in the end it’s just a few segments early morning in the TIF at the Hot Stage. I thought they’re gonna set-up a whole new stage altogether, but guess i was wrong haha (should’ve known that would take too much budget anyway). So yeah, i probably won’t bother with those segment and ill just give it a miss.

My Temporary Planning / Schedules

Every year, setting up the schedules for TIF is already part of the festival itself. Haha. The headaches of deciding and planning of “which stages i should go this time”, well guess what. We’re at THAT TIME of the year again ! Haha ๐Ÿ˜€

Check out my friend’s Excel/Spreadsheet file for
English Version of the Timetables!! It really Helps!! (Credit to my Friend Nubu)

Anyways, for This year “Passpo” and “Babyraids Japan” gets my priority again, while ““Cheeky Parade”, “GEM”, and “Passcode” followed after. The thing though. The schedule is not really kind for me. “Passcode” only appeared 3 times during this year TIF (they only performing on Friday and Saturday — probably resting on Sunday for their Zepp Diver Live on Monday) while “GEM” timetable just clashed with everything else. Damn.

What strange to me though, Day 1 TIF2016 is abit/somewhat dissapointing for me, i guess that’s because mainly all the artist i want to see at the Hot Stage appears during the 2nd Day. So yeap, i think during Day 1 TIF, I’ll just explore the Greetings area during my empty schedules. For the 2nd day, i will spend almost the whole day there at the Hot stage (lol), before going to see Ebisu Muscats at night haha. ๐Ÿ˜€

Day 1 Planning version 0.000001 for TIF2016

See? Yeah, my Day 1 schedule is boring as hell — hopefully i can fill the empty schedules with 2shots or handshake at the greetings area lol. I still thinking if i should gave up the “Idol Clubbing Night Segment” during Day 1 – Night Time, just to see Passcode at Smile Garden, but i’ll see again how it goes haha. For Day 2, it’s really straight forward for me. (btw, day 2 – 17:40 Idol College at the Sky Stage, not Hot stage. just a correction)

Day 2 Planning version 0.000001 for TIF2016

For Day 3, most of the time i will be at the Ship Stage and Smile Garden stage i think. There’s one thing that bothers me though….the Weekly Playboy segment is gonna be held at “Doll Factory”…man, that stage is cramped as hell. It’s gonna be a NIGHTMARE trying to queue for that stage, so i’m still undecided if i should watch that. I mean, i have to choose that between Babyraids x Wasuta and LinQ + 9Nine at the other stages…lol.

Look at that schedule…how should i choose??

So yeah, im still not sure how it goes, but here is my Day 3 planning anyways

Day 3 Planning version 0.000001 for TIF2016

Last Notes:

If you noticed for this year planning for me…the number of groups i want to see is even Lesser than previous years (even though there is more groups available). During my early TIF days (especially in TIF2012 and TIF2013), my aim is to see Passpo + and then “as many idols as possible” (especially those underground ones).

Well after few years or that, i totally gave up the idea of seeing Idols i don’t really know of, and i only want to see those i really want to see. Which explains why my planning this year is much more relaxed than the previous year (by relaxed i mean, i’ll just stay at one stage and stay there for a while — instead of moving around between stages all the times like i did during my earlier TIF days). These days, i don’t really aim to see more than 10-15 groups per day anymore — all i want is those of my favorites only, if you know what i mean haha.

I feel that if you want to see new idol group and try seeing new stuffs, you should just go to that kind of “Koushien” Lives (Idol Koushien, or @ JAM Live) or mixed Idol Live where they only have 1 stage, and fixed timetables. That is much easier than “spending your time running around like a fool in TIF under the hot sun, seeing idols you never heard or never see before”. But i know one thing for sure, that, seeing my favorite group under the hot sun at Smile Garden is always WORTH IT. Haha. Anyways — to each their own eh? This is just my opinions :3 ๐Ÿ˜€

Ok that’s all folks for my rants and talks about this year #TIF2016. This is probably my last TIF2016 post before i depart though, so if there’s anything — i should update after my TIF Trip. Hope it’s gonna be a wonderful summer again ! ๐Ÿ™‚

E-Girls new PV “Pink Champagne” is really cool!! HAHA. (I think it’s my favorite E-Girls PV to-date xD :D) I wanted to make a long post about that (like what i did with “Dance With Me Now” PV post few months earlier). But guess i’m just too lazy lol. I guess i’ll just leave this post with some screenshots and link for the youtube video itself haha ! ๐Ÿ˜€

LinQ Live in Jakarta – 16th – 17th July 2016!!

Posted: July 20, 2016 by InfinityZer0 in Japan!!

5 LinQ members came to Jakarta last weekend for the “Fukuoka Fair” event at Aeon Mall BSD, Indonesia. At first, i didnt expect much really, because at first i didnt really knew them even though i’ve saw their performances a few times before during my earlier TIF visits, but i guess i didnt pay that much attention that time, since they didnt leave that much impact on me. Sooo…~ it’s kinda funny now that when they come to Jakarta, i became addicted to some of their songs !! xD ๐Ÿ˜€ Some of my favorites now are “Hare Hare Parade”, “Calorie Nante”, and “Hanabi!!”, which they all sang during their live here.

Member List for LinQ in Indonesia. 5 members ,no yuumin sadly :/

LinQ @ Aeon Mall – 1st day 16th July 2016

During the 1st day, they’re supposed to perform at 18:00 but for some reason, the event organizer pushed the timing forward, so they actually perform at around 17:15 !! This really sucks for those who didnt know, as they would be missing the 1st session. There is still a group shot session after that though — and 2 more additional Live session the next day (on 12:00 and 19:00)

LinQ Live Performance Day 1 – 17:15 PM

They also have a stand selling merchandise here, such as Photopack, Stickers, Pins, Calendars, CD singles — all around Rp50.000 only (roughly around 500 yen) !! They also have lightstick selling around Rp200.000 (roughly around 2000 yen). For every purchase above Rp150.000 you can take group shot with them. Nice !!

LinQ merchandise price cut in indonesia – around 500 yen only.

I did buy CD and photopacks, but actually i kinda regretted that i took group pictures with them on the 1st day — there are some restriction like i cant choose the members i want to be next for me (the formation is like 2 members in front next to you, and 3 members behind you). I want both “Amihime” and “Maina” to be next to me, but i asked the staffs and they say the line up already fixed and i can’t choose which members to be next to me haha.

But!! During the 2nd day the next day after the last session…the group shoot session is basically more relaxed. You can pick any members you like, do any pose with them, even Selfies!! Haha. Should’ve choosen the last session for group shoots, but oh well.

LinQ Autographed Photopacks and Supreme CD

My Group Shot with LinQ

LinQ @ Aeon Mall – 2nd Day 17th July 2016

For the 2nd day, they perform 2 times at 12:00 and 19:00. Yeah — there is that huge 7 hours gap!! between the day and night session, geez! The first session at 12:00 there is lesser people. I even manage to sit in front at the first row middle haha.

LinQ Live Performance 2nd Day – 12:00PM

Nothing much for the 1st session though, since they sing the same setlist as the previous day (the only difference yesterday they sing “Supreme” but for today’s day session at 12:00, they switched the 3rd song with “Calorie Nante”).

After the 1st session basically i walk around and roam around the mall doing nothings (or eating the free foods from the fukuoka fair….yes, they gave away free traditional fukuoka foods over there xD). So cut the story short — here it comes, the night session of the live.

Now, the night session (19:00 Session) is much much different than the other 2 sessions before. Even though there are chairs– almost nobody is sitting down. In fact- some of the chairs are removed so we can actually have space to move around (and to sprint into the front areas to do kechas xD). I didnt even bother to take pictures for the last session – i just want to have fun and Urya oi. So for the last session, i kept my DSLR in my bag all the time. Haha. ๐Ÿ˜€

Everyone is much higher during the night session.

For the last session, they sing “Hanabi!!” for the 4th song, and “For you” for the encore song. I kinda wished they switched that (Hanabi for the last instead), but meh. It’s all good anyways. haha. Btw here is the full setlist for both days Live in Indo.

Oh, and also Thanks also to the “Japanese LinQ Fans” for leading the way – they lead the MIx, chants, and even the Encore. Kudos to them ! The night session is became much more better xD Without them i think the night session would be abit more boring haha.

Japanese Wotas group pix with LinQ.

Overall – i think the live is pretty fun. And remember, it is FREE Live so i didnt really expect much at first, but in the end i really enjoyed it. Mixing and chanting with the japanese is kinda fun too, we did that circle/mix thingy together and it was a blast xD ๐Ÿ˜€

And with TIF2016 just around the corner,i seriously thinking to save some timeslot there to see LinQ if possible…haha. We’ll see how it goes. Ok, that’s about it for LinQ … i will be updating my blog again next with TIF2016 Post since they just recently uploaded the Timetables already !! Haha.

In the mean time, here are some pictures of LinQ from the 1st day performance. I will upload some of the pix to my Flickr when i have the time. ๐Ÿ™‚

25th July 2016 Update:
Uploaded more LinQ Pix to my Flickr Album Here.

TIF2016 updates and stuffs~ Part 3

Posted: June 24, 2016 by InfinityZer0 in Japan!!

So yeah, less than 6 weeks into TIF2016 now, and there’s been some updates as well. Hmm. Where do i start first…

Grand Market and Greetings Area Updated…+ Dream Stage

I dont know when did they update the map, but i just noticed that they have added the location for “Grand Market” and “Greetings Area“. And it will be at the same location like last year (the parking space outside Zepp Diver City). Yay. More fun and hottnessss under the direct sun !

TIF Map Updated with Grand Market & Greetings Area

I think there will be another stage called the “Dream Stage” (they just announced it on the 23th of June) which is basically “My Navi Stage” from last year. But it’s not updated on the map yet.

Dream Stage?

Also, they still havent added the “Special” stage access for those who buy the special TIF tshirt, but i wonder when they will have updates for that?

TIF2016 “VIP Access”

Yeah, they finally did it. A “VIP” access that allows you for “fast path” route to get into stages, a “reserved/priorty” seating areas for VIPs (2nd floor for the hot stage though haha), and VIPs only drinks? Wohoo !! Sounds like a deal !

Only too bad that it cost like 30.000 yen and its only for 30 lucky people. Damn ! Imagine how much time you can save with that “fast route” access man, if you’d in a hurry — a shorcut access to any of the stages is definitely PRICELESS. Wonder why they never thought of it before for the Previous TIFs? :/

Too bad again, its only for the lucky ones, since there’s only 30 slots and the tix probably gets snapped out in less than 5 minutes anyways, so yeah. Keep dreamin’ ๐Ÿ˜€

Sparkling Night at Doll Factory?

Another weird update. So the “TIF Sparkling Night” with Ebisu Muscat and all those Sexy Idols will be held at…“Doll Factory?” Out of all places ! Man, they really running out of place for this one. I mean, its a pretty known fact that “Doll Factory” has a limited space and its quite cramped (well it is inside a WAREHOUSE after all). With that limited space, i dunno how early you have to be in the queue before you can get access to the stage.

Sparkling Night at Doll Factory Warehouse? Geez….

By the way, this year TIF there’s no “Enjoy Stadium” stage though, so i wonder if they scrapped that one, and used the space to extend the space for Doll Factory? Guess we’ll have to find out.

Doll Factory Stage in TIF2014? Hope the space is bigger in 2016 !

Zipper Stage and stuffs

Yeah they announced another stage/segment called the “zipper” stage. According to google translate, i guess it will be a “fashion show” or something like that. There’s some guest such as “Hinako Kitano” from Nogizaka 46 and “Hitomi Arai” from Tokyo Girls Style…but i think im not really interested with this segment – so probably will skip it lol

Zipper Stage Details via Google Translate

Line ups Updated with more Performers

Yeah more performers added. But still no Cheeky Parade and GEM so yeah….i’m still waiting !

Line Up Updates

Click HERE for TIF2016 Performers list.

“Weekly Playboy presents special live”

I dont know what this is, but seeing from the name…”Weekly Playboy special Live” i just hope there’s gonna be loads of Bikini gals involved !! /yeah right ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

Weekly Playboy live ooo yea

Looking Good? Yeah. But with all the recent updates though, i do still have some wish list for the upcoming TIF2016

Wish List:
– Cheeky Parade and GEM for TIF2016 please
– Doll Factory space expansion for the Sparkling Night…make it bigger pleaase!!!
– More Updates and details for “special stage access” for the TIF Tshirt benefits.
– More bikini babes… uhhh…yeah. ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜€

More bikinis plz

Hmmm i guess that’s it for now, and til the next #TIF2016 post whore ^^ ๐Ÿ˜€

#TIF2016 Quick Updates and thoughts

Posted: June 11, 2016 by InfinityZer0 in Japan!!

so #TIF2016 updated their line up again: this time with a whoopin’-over-50 groups added to the performers line up. Although most of them doesnt really interest me, im glad that “3Min” (Passpo/palet sister group) finally made it again– and also, the addition of Rev from DVL ๐Ÿ˜€

There are also some others updates such as “TGU’s Mixi Stage” and also “Idol Club Night” segment featuring CyberJapan dancers! Sweet. So this year TIF2016 we’re going to have a bikini fest? xD

Random Thoughts:

I think that’s a great update. one of the better updates imo, compared to the last few weeks haha. Besides the addition of the “Idol Club Night segment“, finally we have “Kanna Hashomoto” and friends back (a.k.a Rev From DVL) after they missed out last year in TIF2015.

Also, no 48 groups announced yet. As you can see recently the 48G announced the “USJ48” Lives, or an everyday live performance shows at Universal Studio (Osaka) throughout the Summer Time in Japan (July-August period). But if you see the Live dates below, the dates for 5th to 7th August is missing. Reserved For TIF perhaps? Haha. Just a thought xD

Hot Stages = Indoor. Yay or nay?

Another thoughts about the “Hot Stage” inside Zepp Diver. I’ve been thinking about this. It is great that the Hot Stage will be back indoors again (after 2 years under the hot sun), so you can cool down inside under the aircon Haha. Mind you, summer time in Japan is really hot, and in the last 2 years of TIF, the hot stage has been an Outdoor stage.

BUT! in the last 2 years of TIF hot stages, they have a “seating priority” area which makes easier for people to rest (man they even have people walking around selling 150 yen drinks for those thirtsy lol)…so yeah thats a good thing. The Bad thing is…With these seats, there is lesser space for you to move around. The seats restricts you to do many things like rushing forward in front (or moshing) etc, there’s just no space for it. Basically once the
performance starts, you’ll just stuck there. Until the performance ends and people leaving the area, THEN you can finally move in front and hope you can get closer to the stage. Usually with free standing stages with no seats, if you lucky you can just move around and squeeze in front. Anytime. With the last 2 years of TIF hot stage, once you missed out the “reserved seating area” in the hot stage, then its really tough to move/squeeze in front :/ And i mean it.

Hot Stage back then in TIF2013

Also, the security is very strict in TIF2014/15 hot stages because staffs can easily approach you (with the seating system, its much easier for them to manage i guess). Because of this, i feel that the atmosphere is a bit different- and the crowd in the hot stage is not as crazy as those in the Smile Garden. But with this change in TIF2016 (seats
removed + free standing area).. I guess it’s Welcome back to the “Jungle” rules again with moshing and lifting xD

Not that i have problem with that, i’m actually quite ok with lifting as long they never block my view lol. I dont like those people more (in TIF2014/15 hot stages) — those who chop the seats in the Hot Stage and never move at all and occupy all the front rows for the whole time. Haha.

So yeah, maybe this move of Hot stage back to Zepp Diver is a good idea after all, and im quite happy with it. even though because it is indoor – they may have a limit of the number people inside so they may refuse entry if the stage inside is already too full of people(just like Doll Factory stage). So yeah, i guess nothin’ is perfect.

Whats Next?
Now it’s getting closer and closer to the TIF Dates (less than 2 months away) but we’re still missing some Idolstreet groups such as “Cheeky Parade” and “GEM”, god i hope they really sort out the “IdolStreet Shuffle” soon so we can have them on the line up ASAP lol. That’s the only thing left for me now…the rest is already lookin’ pretty good ๐Ÿ˜€

Ok, that’s all from me now. Til the next #TIF2016 postwhore !

Flower “New Single” 2016 Talks~

Posted: June 4, 2016 by InfinityZer0 in Japan!!

With my recent #TIF2016 blog post done, i want to talk about one of my favorite groups at the moment, which is none other than…. Flower. They recently just released their new single called ” Yasashisa de Afureru you ni”. Yippie !!

More Flower means more Reina, hip hip hurray!!

Flower Talk
Honestly. I really dont know why i got so addicted to them in the first place (and EGirls. but still mainly ; FlowerFlowerFlower), really, considering they mainly only sings “Ballad” or “Slower” songs…I mean, i love idol groups like Passpo that has awesome live atmosphere to it, where you can hear the namecalls, mixes and chants…and to be honest, Flower doesnt really have any of those. LOL ! ๐Ÿ˜€

I mean…I can imagine myself, if i ever watched their one-man-live in the future, i would be standing (or sitting down ?) while staring at Washio Reina for 2 straight hours. I mean, what else can you do? No chanting or mixing right? hahaha. Beats me.

Lookin’ back at You~

Anyways. Flower new single is apparently a cover of “Juju”‘s song with the same title. Yeah i know, nowadays LDH tends to be lazy and just started to do cover of old songs here and there…(examples: “TOMORROW ๏ฝžใ—ใ‚ใ‚ใ›ใฎๆณ•ๅ‰‡๏ฝž“, EG’s “Odoru Ponpokorin” and “Never Ending Story” to name a few) and how i wish they would release original songs instead…but thinking they haven’t released anything new since November last year, i guess i don’t have any choice. 7 months is a quite long wait and honestly i don’t care; and at this rate i’d take any new releases even though it’s just a cover song of Celine Dion “My Heart will Go on”. (yeah im just joking)

Flower Cover of “Yasashisa de Afureru you ni”

For the song itself, i guess it’s “so-so” only. Another typical ballad songs, nothing really that special but i guess it’s kinda great to see Reina singing again (oh yea, did i tell you before that i’m such a Reina fanboi? yeah just sayin’ again) :D. The Video though…i saw the 3 minutes version video they posted on Youtube and it’s really…well…Not that bad, but it’s like 3 minutes video / trailer of movie they promoting ! Yeah i know this song supposed to be an “OST” of the movie, but i really wish they gals will have more screen time other than the Movie scenes/previews.

Me and Reina in the future! Yeah…i wish !!

I’m not really against OST PVs, i mean, they’ve done it before with Flower’s TOMORROW ๏ฝžใ—ใ‚ใ‚ใ›ใฎๆณ•ๅ‰‡๏ฝž PV on youtube… it also has scenes from the movies (Annie The movie) but for some reason i liked that one better than “Yasashisa”. Well. Don’t know, maybe it’s just me…until i found out, that there is actually a version of the PV WITHOUT THE MOVIES SCENE VERSION ! OMG! (Click For Dailymotion link and skip to 5:20 ++) Yeah, i hate Dailymotion too, but given youtube and their very strict copyright notice, it’s only link i found that is working anyways…It’s just loads much slower than youtube haha.

Behind the Scene + Full version of Yasashisha @ Daily Motion

The gals just looks amazing in this PV and i rather have more of their screentime than looking a trailer of some random movies…so i really hope that would be the “Official” version of the PV while the Youtube version is just a version where they use to promote the movies haha.

Reina Solo Debut:

Yeah, ever since the release of their last single “Hitomi no Oku no Milky Way”, Reina has been the only (and one) vocalist for Flower. So there is one thing about the new single… The coupling tracks on the single itself. It comes with 3 other tracks:

02. ็ดซ้™ฝ่Šฑใ‚ซใƒฌใ‚คใƒ‰ใ‚นใ‚ณใƒผใƒ— (Ajisai Kareidosukลpu)
03. ๅคช้™ฝใจๅ‘ๆ—ฅ่‘ต(Taiyou to Himawari version2016)
04. ็ง‹้ขจใฎใ‚ขใƒณใ‚ตใƒผ(Akikaze no Answer version2016)

If you see track number 3 and 4, its actually a “re-release” of their previous singles with “Altered” vocals. The original version have Ichiki Kyoka and Muto Chiharu vocals on it, because it was released before they graduated. After both of them graduated, well…i guess they decided to cut out their vocals from the songs and re-release it with “Washio Reina Solo Version 2016”. hahahaha. ๐Ÿ˜€ (well…because she’s the only vocalist left)…and somemore…Akikaze no Answer is actually one of my favorite Flower songs!!

Not that i have so much big deal about it, since i don’t really like the other 2 ex members anyways, but it really makes me think if re-releasing an old song and replacing the Ex Members vocals is really neccesarry…i mean…leave them alone for god’s sake. They’ve done this before also during the Hanadokei Album also (by removing Muto Chiharu Vocals after she graduated) but Ichiki Kyoka still a member back then so they didnt alter her vocals.

Taiyou to Himawari performance in EG’s “Colorful World 2014” Live with All Vocalist Present~

It really makes me think if One day Reina decided to call it a day in the future–or have some kind of scandal which forces her to “graduate“. I wonder if LHD will even bother to re-release the ENTIRE Flower’s music library with a new vocalist….hahaha, That’d be actually hilarious to see xD (i can see it now…”Akikaze no Answer — 2018 version” hahaha) ๐Ÿ˜€ Talk about putting all the eggs in one basket now.

Although i do worry for Reina’s voice since she will be a solo singer now (with 5 other backup dancers behind her) and she will have to sing most of the Flower songs BY HERSELF. gosh, she must be tired singing all those, hope her throat is okay after each performances!! Which reminds me, some of the older Flower songs requires at least 2 vocalist, so i wonder how she manage to do all those in the future lol. I guess it’s a good thing Flower doesn’t have any “One-man-Live” concert scheduled in the near future, so she is “safe” at the moment. While on E-girls concert, they can just pick a song that is easier for Reina to sing, and she probably only have to sing 2-3 Flower songs tops, so that’s no problem at all.

But maybe..just maybe…. it’s about damn time for LDH to add additional vocalist to the Flower line up…just to give Reina a breathing space. Well, i hope so anyways!

…and that’s all i have to say about this single. Haha. Peace out. More #TIF2016 Postwhore next perhaps? xD ๐Ÿ˜€

TIF2016 *Postwhore* updates + Idol Talks

Posted: June 3, 2016 by InfinityZer0 in Japan!!

Whew. It’s been a while since my last update. Haha…Been busy and been lazy to write a blog post recently. But now that TIF2016 is just around the corner…lets discuss about that first. Haha. Firstly, my upcoming Japan Trip is already set in 2nd – 9th August 2016. I bought a very cheap tix last time around February, and since for this year TIF they announced the date early– i dedicted that i would be visiting it again…for the 5 years in a row now. Haha. ๐Ÿ˜€

This year TIF2016 would be the 5th time for me…with first time being in 2012

General TIF2016 Talks:

As usual, they have announced “some” of the perfomer lists. And by i mean “some”…it means ALOT. Well too many names anyways. Most of them i dont really recognize, and probably wont even able to see haha. Usually nowadays they updated the new performer lists for every 2 weeks — during Friday nights through their livestreaming from niconico. Later then it will be added to their official site. For Example (see picture below)

New line ups added every friday nights (every 2 weeks)

And while the Line Up is quite decent already, there’s still lacking of “Idol Street” groups –well apart from Wasuta that is. (maybe the upcoming Idol Street “Reshuffling” have anything to do with it?) and the lacking of “48” groups announcement…Well, not that i really hope for any 48 groups to come really, but since this year’s festival will be a 3-days event, i suspect they will announce some big names like the “48 groups” to the line up as well lol. ๐Ÿ˜€

Also, TIF recently released a “Map” for this year’s TIF venue. Looks like there is some changes here and there as well.

This year TIF2016 *incomplete?* Map

Firstly, i want to try to compare this to last year’s (TIF2015) stages…Ok. It seems that the Enjoy Studium” stage is gone. As well the “Heat Garage” stage (seems like TIF 2016 Hot stage will be in “heat garage” from last year now), and also the “My Navi” stage is gone too ! So that’s 3 stages gone already. However, they have this new so-called “Ship Stage” which, according to them, can accomodate “alot of people” . Haha. So i guess, compared to last year which they have 8 different stages (not counting the INFO centres and Grand Market of course) — this year there would be 6 stages only. Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. Of course, lesser stages means lesser “headaches” while going in between stages, but not sure if it’s final though haha.

There’s also this gimmick that if you buy a “special tshirt” you will be able to access some “Special stages” only for those who purchased the tshirt. It hasnt been announced yet where that stage would be. Could be it the new “Ship Stage” ? But for some reason…i really doubted it lol. Also, they have announced that Ebisu Muscat would appears for 6th August and there would be a special venue for it as well (and separate “entrance” fee lol.) So yeah, i think that map is not really 100% finalized yet.

New additional “sexy” stage? But need to pay more lol (around 2000-2500 yen)

And yeah, talking earlier about the “special stage” for those who buy the tshirts, i’ve been curious about this particular “special stage”. Whats so special about it? And which idol groups gonna perform at that particular stages? I really hope they give us more info about this matter in the future.

By the way, i have gotten my (cheapo) “gaijins” tickets from Tokyo Girls Updates — and it’s not really “free” compared to last year, since you need to be TGU Premium member (for around 4$ USD per month) and it does takes them a while for them to process the tickets (luckily they eventually did after a very long wait lol) so in the end i have my 3 day pass/tickets secured already. However, if they update this particular “special stage” with some idol groups i really want to see, i might be forced to buy or spend more money just to access this particular special stage. Haha. So i will be waiting for that news. Hopefully it’ll be worth it though.

From this part onwards it will be me talking about my favorite idol groups, so yeah that should be boring yadda yadda. But if you’re curious about me, then you’re free to continue reading. Remember, you’ve been warned!! xD ๐Ÿ˜€ Wall-of-text ahead:

Idol Groups Talks:

Every year in TIF i have my own groups priorities; as in which groups i should see more, and every year since 2012, it has always been Passpo. This actually makes me question myself if that’s really the case, so i’ve been trying hard to recall and remembering myself which particular groups i like the most — from year to year. Since im quite a “DD” and my taste changes almost like…every year? Haha. ๐Ÿ˜€

I know some guys who *tried* to know every single groups and tries to be familiar with each one of them during TIFs (yea i know, i also tried to do the same during my earlier TIF trips in 2012s and 2013s). But face it; with so many idol groups out there in Japan right now there’s no way you can keep up with them all. I stopped “trying” to see as many groups as possible during TIF nowadays, as i rather stick with some several groups im comforable with. It’s much more easier that way, at least for me anyways. Like i said before, im trying to recall myself which idol groups i like in the past, and i came up with this list. From 2010 to 2016 (now xD) ๐Ÿ˜€ At first i only want to make starting only from the TIF2012 period, but while i’m in it… why the heck not. All the way from the beginning: From 2010’s it is !!

Oh yeah. I tried not to include E-Girls in here (even though i really really into them right now. And Flower) because i think them as a Jpop Group / Girl Band, rather than Idol Group, haha. I’m sooo sorry Washio Reina my love, plz dont hate meeee !!

Believe it or not this is beginning of my idol journey. ๐Ÿ˜› I’ve known Buono since 2009 because of their songs for “Shugo Chara” anime, which suddenly makes me addicted to them. I also went for Rock ‘n Buono! concert back then in Yokohama Blitz, it’s totally awesome. ๐Ÿ˜€

After some researching on idol groups back then, it seems that they’re from “Hello Project” and there’s also other groups as well such as “Berryz Kobo”, “Cute”, “Morning Musume” etc etc. I’m not really into “Morning Musume” back in the days to be honest, (it’s really funny but it’s true, although i still like Rika Ishikawa til now) haha. I’ve heard about AKB48, but only a little. Oh yeah, no TIFs yet for me!

AKB48 suddenly jumped into top of list for sure. Ever since AKB48 came to Singapore in the late 2010’s (im living in Singapore up until 2012 btw before i moved back to Jakarta), and mid 2011’s until mid 2012’s — which resulted to AKB48’s (temporary) Theatre and Shops IN SINGAPORE — it’s all about 48 for me. Every 48 groups visit to Singapore makes me further and further apart from Hello Project haha, and eventually i started to forget about H!P…..(well…literally).. It doesnt help that Buono suddenly stopped releasing singles, and Berryz latest songs has dropped down in qualities…well of course- that might be just an excuse — i’m an DD after all xD ๐Ÿ˜€ So yeah, 2011 as you can say, is my “Golden” period of 48 fandoms. When else you can have your favorite 48 groups coming from Japan all the way for like… every 2 weeks? It’s that awesome, and i’m still glad to be part of it. haha ๐Ÿ˜€ The best part is probably when NMB48, SDN48, and SKE48 came to visit to Singapore. It’s much more exciting than the AKB48 visits (which usually comes with bunch of “undergirls” line ups anyways)

And yea, still no TIF this year for me.

This is the first year i felt that i’ve really known Passpo. I’ve heard about their first single “Shoujo Hikou” and the 2nd single “Vivi Natsu” the year before, but in this year (2012) i finnaly decided that they would be my new favorite groups (which lasted all the way until right now lol). Doesnt help that the disbanding of SDN48, plus AKB48 stopped coming to Singapore (and also closure of their Theatre and Shops in Scape Orchard Road) makes me less interested to them. Well — all good things must comes to and end. And so does the “golden era” of 48 Group visits to Singapore. Haha.

The much fated “TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2012” Trip though, totally changed my mind. Even though at first, my sole purpose of this trip is to see PASSPO…It totally opened me into a whole-new world of idol fandoms, and a World of underground idols. Before this its only 48-48-48-48-helloproject-48 for me, but after my 1st ever trip to TIF2012…there’s no going back for what’s about to come lol. Which brings me? To 2013’s

After the TIF2012 trip, i keep on going back to Japan for Tokyo Idol Festival which brings me for more exposure for many many many different kind of Idol Groups. But still, Passpo is my favorite group for the 2nd year in a row (yay), and it followed by me going for their One Man Live in Shinjuku Blaze (yay again ! Read more about it here) which at the same time, my oshi (Annya) also celebrated her birthday show. Totally Awesome ๐Ÿ˜€ And also, you’ll be surprised to see that Idol College is actually my 2nd of the list for this year. Yes. I’m really into Idol College back then — much to the point that i keep chasing for their events…and even their Kenkyusei’s / Trainees back then (Eru and Shioka is my fav trainees back then :D) At that moment they just released their single “Yozora” which i really like very much.

The thing about Idol College though. Back then nobody really knows about them (i think right now they are much more mainstream already) — it’s really hard to find someone with the same taste with me back then. Not to mention, my Idol college oshi (Non-chan) graduated later in February 2014, and also Idol college went on a short “hiatus” — about 1 whole year without any single releases. Which totally dropped my interest in 2014 the following year. But seeing what they did nowadays…well they sure have come a long way now. They are more active and has much more fans compared to back then, i actually kinda feels happy for them (well sort of…) Now bring Non chan back please! (just kidding).

As you can see, in 2013 also is my first encounter with Dorothy Little Happy. But i already talk about Dorothy Little Happy separately on my previous blog posts, so you can refer to it for more of that haha. Also, Cheeky Parade in number 4 spot (oooh yea my favorite chikipa song is “Mugendai Shoujo A” — back then one of the few idol songs which you can hear the “Gachikoi mix” xD), and Palet (Passpo sister group) is on the number 5 spot for me.

By this time i have cutted down my interest in japanese 48 groups (as you can see – no more 48 groups is in my top 5)

This is the only year i felt that Passpo would be finally stepping down from the number 1 list of my favorite idol groups. Yes. It is that close. My addiction to “Dorothy Little Happy” is really crazy that year. The fact that Dorothy Little Happy performance in Hot stage and Smile Garden being my favorite for #TIF2014 moments just says it all i guess. I remember i went all the way to Morioka Prefecture (near Sendai) with a shinkansen (!!) just to see their Live because it’s the only one i can attend at the time. Haha. It doesnt help that Dorothy Little Happy actually came over to Jakarta for a live (!!!!) — something that Passpo never done before. Well, again, for more info about my DLH addiction, you can refer to my previous blog post lol. It ended with a much dissapointment though, with their breaks up the following year, which is why this year (2014) is the last year (sadly) for DLH fandom for me.

Cheeky Parade, Palet and finally, Babyraids, is on my 3rd, 4th and 5th of the list. Yeah, Babyraids suddenly appears out of nowhere and i suddenly just “clicked” into them. I really like their music (which is quite similiar to Passpo in some way) and they’re just that awesome. I only regretted that i didnt see them that much in 2014.

Passpo still number 1, and Babyraids is creepin’ up to the 2nd of the list (thanks to the DLH breaks up of course). By this year, it’s really hard for me to find a song by babyraids that i didnt like — which is totally explains why they’re 2nd in the list for me ๐Ÿ˜€ Same thing goes with passpo. Well, i guess you can tell which group is your favorite if you can enjoy most of their songs, haha.

This year also the last year Palet is in my top 5, because Sakimo (my Palet oshi) soon graduated afterwards, which also made me (kinda) lost interest for a while. Since then, Palet has totally changed as a 6 member groups — which the 3 of them got replaced with totally new members (one of them “Mayu”, is in ANOTHER platinum passport group — 3Min — so she got a dual role there, lol).

Im starting to really like GEM also this following year, which explains why their in number 5 this year. Cheeky Parade still strong in number 4 also, since i always like their energetic performances. For some reason, in “Idol Street” line ups, i couldnt get myself to really like their sister group (Supergirls) at all. Lol. Weird huh?

Well…this year has not ended yet. My priorities might “change” again after my TIF2016 trip haha. Palet is definitely gone from my top 5 after Sakimo’s graduation. Babyraids, GEM, and Cheeky Parade are still there as usual. But as you can see here, there’s a new addition in Number 5 spot– which is Passcode.

Passcode is definitely not everyone’s cup of tea- with their “cute-but-metal” music style and Yuna’s in-famous “Screamo” parts (lol) is definitely one of my faves…They dont have the best kind of fans though — (probably same categories as BiS/BiSH/PoP fans) since they always do crazy stuffs and moshing/pushing/fightings between them. I’m also quite surprised the first time ive seen their fans last year, haha. It’s fun, but it’s dangerous at the same time lol. So you must keep your distance for sure.

I dont know yet what TIF2016 would bring for me, but i expect some “changes” after my TIF2016 Trip for sure haha. That always happens every year with TIF moments, and also “TIF Regrets” xD ๐Ÿ˜€

Phew… that’s quite a long post of my “idol journey” post !! It’s been a while since i did a wall-of-text post like this, and for those who managed to read all the way through of my useless history – thanks for wasting your time to read this! Congrats you just wasted some precious times of your life (to read mine) xD ๐Ÿ˜€ Hahaha.

Well, it just suddenly came into mind that i should make a “year-by-year priorities” / as well as my idol groups ranking. Since (like i said before in my previous blog posts), i wrote this blog pretty much like a “public diary”. Once in a while now & then i would actually Re-read back my own blog post and see what nonsense i wrote up until now haha.

That’s probably it for the time being though. Expect for more TIF2016 nonsense soon, and just like the Tower Records x TIF2016 collabo banner says…”No TIF…No Life”. Till next time….Keep Urya Oi~

*im such a TIF Fanboy i know!*
